"I'm arranged to marry Ace okay?" I spat.

Draco's face was unreadable. His eyes were dark like a thunder storm and his face was pale. He didn't open his mouth to say anything. He just stood in place with his arms crossed.

"Really? You have nothing to say." I question.

No anger, fear, tears. Nothing. I didn't know what to feel in that moment. Maybe nothing at all.

I stepped back and took a breathe. What do I do know?

"Are you gonna go through with it?" He asks.

"I mean no. Ace and I have already made a plan." I state.

"Okay then- " I cut him off.

"Just because I'm telling you this doesn't mean we're okay. I think it is good that you know though." I say then make my way out of the common room.

I had dinner and went back to my dorm. Not really knowing what to do I went to my desk and pulled out some old letters from Draco.

*Reading the letter*

"Hello Darling, I'm sorry I have to leave for the week. Even though it has only been 2 hours since I have seen you I already miss you. My parents needed me to come with them on a business trip for something- not quite sure why though. I look forward to getting to kiss those beautiful lips when I get back.

*Another Letter*

"Dear Aspen, I would like you to go on a date with me if you would. Seeing your smile and those bright green eyes make my day so much brighter. If you accept please meet me at the quidditch pitch at 9:00 PM.

- Love, Draco Malfoy

I read two letters and I had tears flowing down my cheeks. How can he affect me so much? Feelings suck. Like really suck. Moving on is hard but it has to be done... I took both letters into my hands and ripped them in half. Then a second and third time. Move on.

I walked to the common room and sat on the couch with the ripped up letters in my hands. The fire lit up my face and warmed my skin. Sometimes it's you against your mind. And it sucks.

I need to move on. Throwing the ripped up lettered into the fire I let out a broken laugh.

" How stupid of me to think you would love me..." I sigh.

I tucked my legs into my chest and sat in my thoughts.
