Chapter 4

"Now how about we do some art?" Diana changed the subject and handed markers to everyone. Kaide and I sat down on the floor and began drawing something random with the markers. I drew a dog, and Kaide drew a cute dinosaur.

After he was done he gave it to me as a gift. "I love it." I carefully hugged the paper, making sure not to get wrinkles in it. I handed him my drawing of the dog I drew which wasn't very good, but he still enjoyed it.

Once group was over, everyone walked back to the dayroom. I took a seat next to Kaide closest to the door to enter the unit. All the seats were taken as Jungkook slowly walked out of the hallway. He looked around before deciding to walk up to me. Once he reached me, he sat down in front of my chair and leaned against my legs.

"Thank you." he chuckled, resting his head on my legs while looking up at me. "You two look like siblings." Kaide chuckled. Jungkook immediately stood up and straightened himself. He cleared his throat before saying, "No, never. Now move and sit where I was." he demanded.

Kaide being the chill guy he is, he got up and sat down in front of me, doing the same as Jungkook. He leaned against my legs and layed his head comfortably on my lap. I played with his fluffy hair and smiled at how cute he looked from my point of view.

I was interupted when I felt something heavy on my thighs. It was that stupid bratty Jungkook putting his legs on me. "I want you to play with my hair." he pouted. I rolled my eyes and quickly shoved his legs off of my lap.

"Alright guys, lunch. Line up if you want to go to lunch." Becca announced. Everyone except for Rose and Jisoo got up. "Rose, Jisoo you guys can't stay back to have some time with each other everytime. This is the last time you can do it, alright?" Becca explained. "Yes ma'am." they said in sync.

"Let's go." Becca put her keycard in the door and opened it. "Open it for the person behind you." she said before leading the way to the cafeteria. I was amazed when we made it to the cafeteria, fancy looking chairs, four to a table with the smell of delicious food.

I saw Max walk over to where the drinks were and he took a handful of packets of something and shoved them into his pocket. I just nodded, I myself took a ton of the saltine crackers because they are so delicious.

I found a seat next to Kaide and Max, later joined by Jungkook. I looked at him annoyed, which he responded, "am I not allowed to sit here?" he looked at me with a devil stare. "Whatever let's just eat." I rolled my eyes and dug into my food.

I ate all of my chicken, beans, apple and even the dessert which was banana pudding. Let me tell you it was delicious, literally my new favorite thing in the entire world. I quickly got up and walked back to the kitchen for another bowl of banana pudding.

Once I sat down with my pudding and opened it, Jungkook stole it and took a bite of it. He smiled cutely and said, "oh my, my favorite." he laughed and handed it back to me. "Thank you carrot." he smiled and kept eating his food.

I looked over at Max to see him take one of the packets from before out of his pocket. "What is that?" I asked curiously. "It's like hot sauce, it's called Cholula." he smiled and opened the packet, before pouring the entire thing in his mouth.

After lunch was over, we went to the indoor courtyard because it had snowed recently. Inside there was a basketball hoop and a bin full of racket ball, volleyballs and basketballs.

I was excited and quickly ran to get a basketball. I dribbled it and threw the ball at the hoop, making it swish. I jumped up and down excited cause that was my first ever basket I made.

"Hi carrot." I heard from behind me and jolted forward in shock. I turned to see Jungkook smirking, I quickly shoved him angrily and crossed my arms. "Rude." I rolled my eyes and grabbed my basketball that was slowly rolling towards the wall.

I picked the basketball and held it in my hands. I admired the ball, I had never payed close attention to the ball itself. The black lines and the orange buppy part that had small smooth circles all over the ball. I dribbled the ball and went to grab it, but someone stole it from me.

I turned towards Jungkook who was running with the ball in his hands. "Travel!" I yelled. I chased him angrily and tackled him. From experience, I know that his grip is very good. So, trying to steal something that he has a hold on is impossible. The best way was to tackle him, which worked very well.

The ball bounced off his body as both Jungkook and I's bodies slammed against each other and the ground. Jungkook's head roughly hit the ground making him groan in pain. I quickly got off him and ran over to the ball. I stuck my tongue out at him as he held his head in pain.

I hate that I'm such a caring person. I quickly ran to Jungkook, worried I may have given him a concussion. I kneeled down next to him and put one of my hands behind his head and the other on his stomach. I carefully sat him up and supported his head with one hand.

"It hurts." he whined. "I'm sorry." I looked down at his shorts, regretting what I had done. Instead of staring at the ground, I'm a person that stares at someone or something someone is wearing.

"Can I have a hug please?" I lifted my head to see him looking at me with puppy dog eyes. "Okay." I embraced him in a soft hug. I felt so bad for tackling him so aggresively.

"I miss this." he hugged me back tightly. "Oh hush. It's my apology, it won't ever happen again. So, let's get you some ice." I pulled away from the hug and stood up.

"Becca!" I yelled. "I'm here you don't have to yell." Becca said from behind me. "Oh sorry," I lowered my voice. "Jungkook needs ice for his head, I think he might have a concussion." I explained looking at Jungkook.

"What happened?" Becca asked as she approached Jungkook. "Uhm..." Jungkook glanced at me as I looked at his shirt. "I slipped and hit the wall." he explained smiling, when I looked up at him. I mouthed a thank you, in which he responded with a nod and smile.
