Chapter 10

I walked to the dayroom and sat in my usual seat near the door and watched the tv that now played shrek. Within seconds I was joined by Kaide, which confused me. "Hey," he smiled sweetly. "Hi," I responded looking down at the ground.

"Look, I'm sorry. I know you like me and I wanted to make you jealous because I like you too." he explained. I still didn't look up at him and just nodded. Before anyone could say anything, Jungkook sat down next to me.

"Oh hey Kaide," he said with his eyes fixed on me. "Y/n, you want a snack it's still snack time," Kaide asked. I looked over at Jungkook and glanced at Kaide. Jungkook had a blank face while Kaide smiled at me.

"Jungkook was going to get snacks with me," I explained. "Oh ok," Kaide responded. I got up and dragged Jungkook to the main desk. He stopped me and looked at me confused, "you okay?" he asked, knowing it was unlike me to drag people.

"Kaide said he likes me and just wanted to make me jealous. Now I feel like he's going to try and get with me. With the way he made me feel, I-I can't." I looked down at the ground and fiddled with the hem of my shirt.

"Let's get you some goldfish and soup, hmm?" he suggested. I nodded and turned towards the counter and saw Loki. She smiled sweetly at me and I responded back with a smile. "We will take two chicken soups and two goldfish," Jungkook told Loki who quickly gave us the food and drinks.

I walked back to the seat next to Kaide and Jungkook sat next to me. I faced towards him as he handed me my food and drink, yes he insisted on carrying the goldfish and soup. "Oh what's this?" Kaide asked, taking the soup from my hands. "Chicken soup," I explained trying to take it back from him.

"Looks good," he said and took a sip of the soup. I looked back down at the ground sad that Kaide stole my drink. "Here want it?" he asked. "No," I responded not facing him.

I began picking at my fingers, anxious and uncomfortable in the spot I was stuck in. I moved my hands to my hair and began pulling my hair out. I was stopped by a hand on top of mine. I looked down at the ground embarrassed.

I saw a hand in front of me holding soup. I shook my head as no, "Y/n come on. We both know how much you love it," when I heard Jungkook's voice I looked up and turned towards his direction. "Everyone's gone, look." he pointed around the room. I looked around and even Kaide was gone. I smiled knowing I was safe.

"Thank you," I smiled at him and took his soup from him. I took a few sips and reached the cup out back to him. He smiled to me before taking a few sips. "Ok you two, room time." Loki said from behind Jungkook. I got up and nodded as I walked to my bedroom.

When I passed Kaide's room he was sitting up on his bed. Once he spotted me he got up and followed me into my bedroom. Jungkook walked in and question Kaide, "Why are you here?" he asked, leaning on the doorway.

"Am I not allowed to see my girlfriend?" Kaide responded making me really stressed. "I'm not your girlfriend," I said as I stared at Jungkook's shirt. "You're single though, so I can call you mine." Kaide said as I could see him smiling from the corner of my eye.

"No I'm not," I responded looking up at Jungkook's face. Kaide laughed, "Sure." "Yeah, we're dating," Jungkook walked next to me and wrapped his arm around my shoulder. I adverted my eyes to the ground, waiting for Kaide to leave.

He sighed before leaving the room. I immediately hugged Jungkook, "Thank you so much." I said as a few tears leaked out of my eyes and onto his chest. He hugged me back and gently rubbed my back. He pulled away a few seconds later and walked over to his bed.

I walked to my bed and sat on the side while watching Jungkook as he got comfortable in his bed. He looked at me and furrowed his brows. "Need something?" he asked scanning my face. I glanced around the room, "oh no." I said and sat all the way on my bed and stared at the wall.

I felt the bed dip and saw someone sit on my bed. Since the room was dark I wasn't sure who it was. I hugged my knees scared that it would be Kaide. "Hey, it's just me," I relaxed a bit when I heard Jungkook's voice. "You scared me," I said.

"I'm sorry, you just look like you need a bunny hug." he explained. I rolled my eyes when he said bunny. "No, it's ok you can go to sleep." I said even though I really needed a hug. He stood up and walked closer to me before sitting with his legs folded on the bed. "I'm not stupid," he gently placed his hand on my knee.

My knee twitched a bit which made Jungkook remove his hand. "Sorry, I should've asked." he said softly. I scooted towards him until our knees touched each other. I felt around for his hands and held them once I found them. "My knee twitches, not because I'm uncomfortable. It does that when I'm relaxed." I explained to him.

I heard nothing from him and awkwardly let go of his hands. He quickly interlocked our hands again and spreaded his legs and pulled me close to him. "You're so cute," he said caressing my hands with his. I was glad it was dark, otherwise he would've seen me blushing and probably would've teased me.

"You okay?" he asked, interrupting the silence. "Kaide made me really anxious," I told him as my hands began to shake. "Hey, it's okay. He will leave you alone with me here," he pulled me into a hug and slowly wrapped his arms around my waist.

His hands rested on my thighs, as he didn't want to hug me too tightly. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him until our bodies were touching. I proceeded to rest my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes.  I was actually comfortable with a guy. Since I've known Jungkook for so long, I've began to trust him.

After he didn't move his hands, I grabbed his hands and tried wrapping them tightly around my waist. He chuckled and hugged me tightly. "Oh you love my hugs don't you," he teased. I scoffed and hit his back, making him laugh in response.

"Hey, it's time to sleep." I heard a voice interrupt Jungkook and I. It wasn't Jungkook's voice it was someone else's. I looked towards the door to see Loki. She walked into the room and whispered, "You guys aren't supposed to be on each other's beds. I'll let it slide, but it might not be me next time who checks up on you." she explained before heading out of the room.

"Well, thank you for the good night hug. Good night and sleep well." Jungkook let go of me and moved from underneath me. I got sad, wanting more comfort, "Night." I responded and layed down on my bed.
