I was woken in the middle of the night by heavy breathing next to me. I looked at the clock that read 1:18 am. I rubbed my eyes and sat up. I felt around for a lamp on the nightstand and switched it on.
I saw Jungkook sitting up against his closet while panting heavily. I knew it was his nightmares, I immediately got off the bed and sat down next to him.
"Hey, it's okay. I'm here," I hugged him tightly and played with his messy hair. He sniffed before saying, "why do they keep happening, I just want them to go away," he cried out.
"I know, but I'm here when you need it. Just call me and I'll come over anytime to help you out, okay?" I pulled away and wiped his teary eyes.
He smiled and pulled me onto his lap and hugged me tightly. He let go of me and layed down, but grabbed a hold of my waist.
I looked at him to see him already looking at me. He lightly tugged on my shirt, "I want." I chuckled at how baby like he is and layed down next to him.
"Is this what you want?" I asked. He nodded and hugged my waist as he closed his eyes. I rose my hand and pushed the strands of hair that were in his face out and behind his ear. He opened his eyes and smiled at me. He reached his hand out and gently placed it on my cheek. He caressed my cheek with his thumb, "I'm so glad you came over today." he smiled.
"Me too." I said. I pulled the blanket that was at his feet and covered both of us. To keep myself fully covered, I scooted closer to him. He took advantage of our closeness and clung onto me. I sighed and slowly ran my hand through his hair as his head was buried in my chest.
Eventually, my eyes began to feel heavy and I fell asleep quickly.
I was woken the next morning by the sunlight and also Bogi. "Hey, wake up and stop being clingy." Bogi pouted. I rubbed my eyes and looked up at her. I looked down at Jungkook to see him still peacefully sleeping. "He's still asleep, let him sleep for a bit and then I'll come downstairs, okay?" I explained. Bogi sighed, "Okay as long as he's not crabby." she said before walking out of the room.
I sighed and put my hands in his hair and played with it slowly to try not to wake him.
3 hours later, and he was still sound asleep. Miss Jeon came into the room to check up on us. "He's still sleeping?" she said as she looked at Jungkook and I. "He must've been tired," I chuckled.
"I'm sure he's really getting good sleep with you there. He always gets good sleep when you're with him," she explained. I just smiled and nodded to her, confused and embarrassed a bit at what she said.
After a half an hour, I really had to go to the bathroom. My bladder couldn't hold much longer, so I slowly moved away from Jungkook, trying not to wake him. It didn't work unfortunately, and he woke up and grabbed my wrist.
"Where do you think you're going?" he asked tiredly. "I need to use the bathroom," I explained. He let go of my arm and let me run into the bathroom.
Once I walked out Jungkook was standing right at the door, blinking tiredly. "Come on, let's eat." I dragged him downstairs and made breakfast for him, myself, Bogi and Miss Jeon.
Jungkook pulled me on the couch in the living room and layed his head on my lap as he slowly ate his breakfast.
When I looked down at him again, he was asleep. I moved him to another side of the couch so I could lay down and watch the tv comfortably.
He groaned and sat up before scooting towards me. He rubbed his eyes before climbing on top of me and laying, sprawled out on top of me. I knew I couldn't do anything about it, he would keep following me around all day if I didn't let him just get his beauty sleep.
I sighed and reached down to play with his soft, fluffy hair. I don't know why, but everytime he's asleep near me, I always play with his hair. It's so fluffy and soft, it's just really fun to mess with.
I turned my head towards the tv as I watched what Bogi was watching, a little kid show. Eventually, I got tired too and fell asleep again. Today is just a slow day, I'd say more of napping all day.
Once I woke up, I realized that we hadn't even started on the math project yet. Jungkook was already up and was digging through the kitchen for food.
"Jungkook! We didn't even start our project yet," I yelled, searching through my backpack for my computer.
"Calm down, it's the weekend we have two days until it's due." he explained as he walked back into the living room. He held two glasses of water in his hands and gave one to me before he sat next to me and gulped the water in his glass.
We quickly got started on the math project that was so confusing, but I'm lucky Jungkook pays attention and remembers things. We got the project down fairly fast, within two hours.
Once we were done, I got up and walked to the front door. I opened the door, just to be hit by a gust of wind. I shivered and closed the door, checking the temperature on my phone.
"20 fucking degrees, how am I gonna get home with how cold it is?" I angrily walked upstairs and grabbed a blanket from the hallway closet. I hurried back downstairs to the living room before jumping on the couch and curling into a ball.
Jungkook chuckled and sat next to me. "Is someone cold?" he teased. I lifted my head and glared at him, "Go away," I pouted. He sighed and wrapped his arm around my shoulder, "I would never." he said, making me roll my eyes.
I soon noticed it was lunch time. I quickly got off the couch, leaving my blanket even though I was still shivering from being freezing cold. I searched through the cabinets until I found packets of ramen.
"You want ramen?" I asked, referring to Jungkook. "Yes please," I heard his voice from next to me. I looked to my side and flinched, surprised on how sneaky and quiet he is.
"It's fucking August why is it so cold?" I whined. Jungkook rolled his eyes, "is that your way of asking to borrow clothes?" he said raising a brow. "No, it just doesn't make sense." I responded.
I put the ramen in the boiling water after a few minutes of waiting for the water to boil. Jungkook grabbed a spoon and leaned over me to stir the ramen in the pot.
I rolled my eyes, knowing what he was trying to do. I turned around and glared at him, as he smirked and pinned me against the counter. He bit his lips as he scanned me up and down.
I crossed my arms annoyed, "what?" I said angrily. "Hey, it's okay Jungkookie is here," he smiled teasingly as he cupped my face. I rolled my eyes and pushed him, "You're actuall so annoying." I turned back towards the stove and continued mixing the ramen.
Once I turned the heat on the stove off, Jungkook grabbed my wrist and turned me around to face him. "What no-" before I could finish my sentence, he leaned in and quickly pecked my lips.
"Thank you," he said once he pulled away. He grabbed some ramen and put it into a bowl before heading over to the couch in the living room. I stood in the same position, mouth dropped with my eyes wide as I thought about what just happened.
"Y/N, you okay?" I looked to see Bogi standing next to me. "Oh yeah, just spaced out," I chuckled before grabbing some ramen for both me and Bogi. I handed her a bowl of ramen and she excitedly ran to the living room and sat next to Jungkook.
I grabbed my bowl of ramen and sat next to Bogi, glad I didn't have to face Jungkook after what he just did.
