Chase licked his lips nervously. There sat huge pieces of candy corn, just inches away from where he hid nervously.
He was behind the coffee machine shaking like a leaf. It was Halloween, and the humans of the house came home a few hours ago with huge treats and candies. They left the ones they didn't want or weren't going to finish on the counter and headed upstairs.
Chase eyed the candy. He was starving. He slowly left his safe place of hiding and crept to the candy, stumbling. As a borrower, he should be more prepared than this. But he didn't know today was Halloween, and he rushed out to get finally thinking twice as he hid behind the coffee machine to think about a plan. Finally he decided just to get some and leave.
As he was pulling the huge piece of candy back into his hole he heard a death threatening thump. His heart dropped. A human...a human the 15 year old was not willing to meet. He felt his brown eyes widened as his breath started to quicken. Finally his body kept up with his mind as he left the candy and started to run, then a huge mason jar slammed over him. His whole field of vision was a greenish blue jar. Chase gulped, feeling tears slip.
Jason couldn't believe a little boy was running around the counter. The 16 year old was amazed even. He did the quickest thing he thought of and slammed the jar on-top of him. Now that he thinks about it, maybe that wasn't such a good thing now as he hears small sobs from the jar.
Jason bends down to the jar as he slowly brings the jar up. The tiny immediately starts running but Jason puts a grip around him bringing him up to his face.
Chase hearts stops. Literally, he doesn't hear anything, just two huge eyes peering into his small ones. He continued to cry, squirming in the human's grip.
Jason eyes widened, the little guy was terrified.
"Hey hey, it's okay I'm ain't gonna hurt ya."Chase in disbelief keeps squirming.
Jason sighs, this might be harder then he intended. He looks over at his counter. Oh, so thats what he was doing. Jason scoops up a piece of candy corn, and brings it to Chase's mouth. Chase stares in surprise, his mouth craving it.Jason chuckles softly at the change of the tiny.
"If you tell me your name you can have it it's all yours, okay?"He smirks as he sees a small nod. Jason barley gets the name from mostly the low scared voice and a bit of stuttering but he catches it.
"Chase? Is that it?"
Chase nods shyly. Jason smirks again.
"Here you go, Chase."
He gently place the piece of candy in Chase's tiny hands. Chase excitedly starts to eat it smiling.Jason slowly starts to walk to his room. Chase was too distracted by the yummy piece of candy. Jason placed the little one on his desk. Chase only noticed with the change of warmth. He looked up confused but definitely not as scared. Jason leaned over Chase unintentionally looming over him. Chase looked up confused giving an adorable look on his face.
Jason smirked at the little one. He was like a little puppy.
"Want another piece?"
Chase grinned.
