Ej paled as a huge broom came near his way, he was nothing. He ran as fast as he could to get away from it, he screamed as he felt dust fill his eyes. The fourteen year old was horrified.

Matt had just came home from his job. The 20 year old sighed as he saw all the dust that had been collecting over the past couple of weeks. He sighed as he started to sweep up the mess. Only after a little while he heard a yell.

A tiny yell.

Like a mouse.

He looked down, ready to stomp on whatever pest that was in his home. He stopped his feet, when he notice the figure was much smaller than some rat. He didn't know what it was. He bent down to get a closer look.

A borrower.

A horrified borrower.

The kid was gushing tears as he looked up at Matt. Matt felt guilty for the look in his eyes.

"Hey, shh."

Matt was totally confused on what to do. Borrowers were rare and Matt had no idea had to handle the kid burst of tears.

He slowly bent down and scoop the child up. The child fussed, but Matt gently shushed him.

"Hey shh, I got you, let's get you clean up okay?"

The child look up at him in fear, but nodded slowly.
