I keep thinking up different versions of how "The One" on my YouTube looks with Asher and Bella's children. So here's another one with their kids.
(Same world as 'Crime')
Adam held his breath as he walked.
The lady who had been holding him and his family captive his hole life finally let him go. She was 'paid' money, since his family was so desperate to have them back.
Thing was, Adam didn't know he had another family.
(Same past as the Crime prompt)
He sighed to himself, as he shakily stood on the counter with his sister and mother. He had never met these people, and his mother kept them a secret while they were being abused and toyed with. Apparently his sister knew too.
So yeah he felt lied too, as he currently stumbled like a lost little baby deer. The lady who had abused him for the last 16 years of his life was now in hand cuffs. His other "family" had tricked her by giving her the money for them, since they found out Adam and his mother and sister were still alive.
His abuser was arrested, the moment she grabbed the money, she was tricked and now Adam watched as she scream being pulled away in hand cuffs. Adam was beyond terrified.
These huge figures swarmed to hug his sister and mother. Giants...
They were such huge creatures.
Why would his mother marry a giant and not tell him?!?
Then again...they were held captive since he was born...she had other things on her mind.
Like keeping him and his sister safe.
He sighed, trying to slow his thinking. He looked up as he saw his family being hugged by the giants, tears falling from all of them.
He felt alone.
Eventually a giant turned his attention to Adam.
They made eye contact.
Adam was the first to look away, terrified.
The giants were two males and one female.
The male that looked at him appeared older, had a few grays growing on his beard. His features matched Adam's perfectly, they shared the same dark blue hair, and pale skin that did a nice contrast with his hair. His sister and mother had pretty brown skin, and dark long beautiful hair. The female giant looked more like his mother now that he thought of it.
He could see the man looked like he was dying to say something, but couldn't find the words.
It took Adam a minute.
Then it clicked.
He must've been his father.
Adam eyes widened as he stared at his feet. He heard footsteps, and he immediately felt his legs feeling like jelly. He backed up on the counter he stood on until he couldn't move anymore. He fell back onto the floor as tears silently streamed out of his eyes.
He felt pathetic.
And stupid.
Everyone was here laughing and smiling again and here he was crying because a giant had made eye contact with him. He held his hair in fists as he shook to himself. No one seemed to notice thankfully as they all smiled talking to one another again after this time.
