Pt.2
Virgil found his legs.Virgil immediately made a run for it...but there wasn't any use.
You see, Thomas came through the door and he was standing closest to it. Virgil was in front of him which meant he had to pass Thomas to get to the door, and you could imagine how that went.
Thomas scooped him up gently as Virgil ran into him, which left Virgil whimpering, he had been caught in his lie.
"Hey, hey, shh calm down."
Thomas hushed him as tears were still spilling.
It did calm him a little...
Maybe his Creator wasn't mad he lied?
