Ej watched as the huge printer printed out the paper. They were always so amusing to him. Watching those machines produce letters and stuff the humans used. He watched as the human took out the paper, scanning over it with a sigh.

"I can't wait to do this." He muttered sarcastically.

Ej looked in confusion as he peeked behind the couch watching the human. The borrower didn't know what was on the paper, but obviously the human didn't seem to like it.

The human sat down as he turned on the tv and got to work.

The human was a few years older than Ej. Maybe 18.The borrower was just 15, but he watched the human grow up in this house for years.

It always seemed fun to be a human to Ej, but what did he know...maybe he was just meant to be a borrower and hide away.

The tv started to play as the human threw the pencil and got up with a grunt. Whatever he was working on, wasn't going so well. The human marched to the kitchen, but stopped as he heard a squeak.

Ej tried to suppress a whimper as the huge feet passed him, but failed miserably, he didn't even know why he had gotten so close to the human. He shouldn't have been so curious.

The human followed the squeak and looked under the couch.

Ej's anxiety went through the roof.

He was done for.
