Trigger warning, sensitive topics brought up

Lucas shook as the huge hand laid in front of him. He gulped.

He did not want to do this.

Lucas attended a giant human integrated school. He absolutely hated it. Giant feet were everywhere, he constantly had to avoid them. He didn't want to be on the mercy of someone's shoe, his bones crushed underneath it.

Lucas was a popular boy among the humans. He just didn't know how popular.

You see, the giants students of the school voted on who the thought for Most so and so. (like most likely to) ( I know this is a thing they do in the yearbooks and at the end of the year and stuff, but let's just pretend it's not.)

The human students voted too. Lucas never knew he was on the list. He didn't know he was being considered.

So he was dumbfounded when his girlfriend told him the humans of the school picked him for Most Popular for the human side of the school.

He was also dumbfounded at the prize.

Force to live with the giant who was also Most Popular for the giant side, for a month.

The other humans who got Most whatever had to do the same.

The school wanted to study how they would get along, since each group almost never interacted with one another.

When Lucas found out about his "prize" he dodged every bullet from doing it. He steered away from teachers telling him about winning, didn't go to the meetings he was supposed to for the prize, even ignored his name being called on the speaker to come to the office about once a day.

He had steered away for at least a week.

Good.

If he ever did get caught (which would never happen) he would only have three more weeks.

He just needed to kill time.

Humans didn't have many rights, they were seen as pests, little figures. It was a surprise they received education. The seventeen year old was poor, very poor. That's the only reason he got into this school. His mother couldn't afford the private schools just for humans. Other schools were too far away, his mother couldn't afford to move. Since the school knew no human would come to this school, they made it free, for the poorer students so they could come. But they were an actual rich private school for the giants. But needed the humans to look good.

Lucas sighed at the thought, he needed to focus, lie low. He closed his oh so tiny locker and headed for the bathroom, dodging tens of feet passing by. Multiple people waved at him, he smiled as he did handshakes and hugs as well.

It was not hard for him to make friends.

He turned the corner when he slammed into something.

Something big.

He fell back hitting his head a bit.

He held his head in pain, blurry vision throughout his eyes. It finally cleared until he saw his principal's huge face.

He gulped.

The same principal that been calling his name for days.

Lucas did the first thing he thought of, he jumped to his feet shakily and bolted. Ran as far as he could from his principal. Giant footsteps followed as well as loud calls for his name as Lucas weaved around giant feet and in between cracks of the school. Giant students looked up at the principal confused, not seeing the small tiny their principal was after.
