After we ate breakfast, me and Felicity washed the plates and dried them. I've never done this before cause I have a maid but hey, there's a first time for everything.
I make my way back to her bedroom, whilst she follows. I grab my t-shirt and wear the clothes I own.
"Are you.. going somewhere?" She asks confusingly.
"Yeah I need to have lunch with Laurel today, haven't seen her in a while and we still need to figure out what we're doing about our engagement." I say busily.
"Oh right. Engagement. I thought you two were through?" She says.
"I don't know. It's much more complicated than you think Felicity. I love her you know." I said, not thinking about the consequences. I meant I loved her as a friend. But I could see why she heard differently.
Felicity P.O.V
My heart shattered. When he said he still loved her. I thought maybe, just maybe. I'd find the right dude for me but apparently not. He's a lesson, not a blessing.
I feel tears dwelling in my eyes, begging to escape and to scream.
"You know what you should really go I have lunch with Barry to attend now Mr.Queen." I say in a broken voice.
"Yeah I'm leaving, who's Barry? Is he a business partner?" He says leaning in.
"No." I say pushing him away. "Me and Barry are dating." I say with a cold voice.
"Didn't you say you weren't dating anyone yesterday?" He says with narrow eyes.
"I guess we both were lying." I say as I slam the door in his face.
