Unexpected love

Chapter 10

Roy P.O.V

I look over at my wrist to check the time on my watch, it was almost six. Twenty to six actually and I was still on the sofa watching Netflix and eating popcorn.

I get the courage to wake up, and put on my usual red hoodie and some cheap jeans. Go cheap or go poor.
Cheap.

I grab my iPhone 4 and head off. Yes I own an iPhone 4. How expensive.
After 5 minutes of walking, I arrive at Big Belly burger and text Felicity.

I chuckle a little on what I sent. After 2 minutes I feel my phone vibrating. She messaged back saying:

🔸 "I'm here roytoy, be there in 2 X -felisissy 🔸

And she lied.
I waited for 3 minutes and she said it would be 2. Liar.

"Heya Roy! How are you!?" She said whilst hugging me.

"Worried. Could be better." I said honestly. As soon as I say that her smile faded a little.

"Oh my god what happened? Are you okay? Is something wrong? What is it?" She asked inquisitively.

"Heyheyhey, I'll tell you over some burgers full of oil and beef. Also, you still need to tell me who you're going out with tonight." I say winking at her with a big smirk.

She punches me softly and we go infront of a cash register to order our food. After waiting for 15 minutes on our table, the food comes.
It has come.

"So will you tell me what's been worrying you?" She finally asks before she wipes her mouth with a blue lemon tissue.

"It's about Thea really-"

"OH MY GOD ROY! YOU AND THEA TOGETHER AWH THAT IS SO CUTE! HOW LONG HAVE YOU TWO BEEN TOGETHER? OH MY GOD HOW COULDN'T YOU TELL ME BEFORE- IT'S OKAY, THE BEST IS THAT I KNOW NOW. I'M SO HAPPY FOR BOTH OF YOU I-"

"We are not together Felicity!!" As I said that, everyone looked at me like I did something wrong. Oh my god. That bitch. Felicity Smoak, you are now on my naughty list.

"Oh but, Roy.. I love you babe! Why did you promise we'd be together and now you don't want to anymore?" She says whilst acting. Damn you lissy.

"Oh Felicity! I love you! I've always loved you! You're perfect to and for me. Will you marry me?" I say, if she wants to play, let's play.

"YES! Oh my god finally! I love you too Roy!" She says laughing her lungs out. Typical Felicity.

And after that I stunned everyone other than her. I kissed her on her soft lips and hugged her whilst whispering in her ear: "I'll get you back smokie."

And she replies, "No you won't harperdiaper."

Well played. Well played.

After all that fuss and show, we sat back down.
"No but seriously, what's up with Thea?" She says.

"Uh, We've been hanging out for the past two weeks and I don't know if we're just friends or maybe a bit more." I say truthfully.

"But do you want to be more than friends with her?" She says leaning closer with a soft smile.

"I think I do. I like her a lot liss." It's hard confessing your feelings damn it.

"Then tell her how you feel Roy, maybe she wants that too, maybe she is waiting for you to make a move. But don't take too long Roy. Thea is attractive and has an amazing personality, she might not wait for you." She said.

"You convinced me. We are supposed to meet tomorrow, I'll tell her then. Damn liss, how do you always know what to say?" I said.

"Oh that's just the perks of being a genius in everything." She said teasing me. "Hey I gotta get going, got somewhere to be." She said winking me before kissing me on the cheek.

"Yeah you better get going. It's almost 7:30pm. Also, who you going out with? And don't lie to me!" I said.

She whispers in my ear; "Oliver Queen."

"Oh wow really? Goodluck I mean oh my god." I say stunned.

"Yeah okay he's handsome I get it."

"Hell yeah. Can you please stop complimenting other boys? We're engaged for heaven's sake." I joke.
"OH MY GOD, IF YOU DATE OLIVER AND I'LL DATE THEA IT'S LIKE AMAZING DOUBLE DATING." I said acting all childish and feminine.

That's how girls these days act right? See. I know my basic information.

"Funny Roy. Classy. Hey wanna come over help me get ready? You can stay there and watch Netflix and then when I arrive home we'll talk about the Queens." She said winking.

"You had me at Netflix." I said.

And with that we left bbb and got into Felicity's car and drove off to her house.
