chapter 10: day of dance

Len POV

"LEN HURRY UP!!!" Rui and Rin yelled at me.
"I'm coming! Geez!" I said coming down the stairs. Rin, Rui and Rei both stared at me.
"Wow... Len... You look amazing!" My sister said and then attacpkoed met into a hug.
"Yeah yeah, now let's go." Rei said.

We got into the car and went to pick up miku and seeU. Miku got into the car wearing a teal sparkling ballroom style dress. next SeeU came in wearing a knee-length black dress.

"Ready?" Rin asked and they both nodded and we drove off.

Rin started texting and I sighed.
"Rin, your going to get sick!" I said.
"No I'm not!"
"You get car sick!" I say.
"Oh whatever!!" She said and carried on texting.

After a five minute journey we stopped and Rin was looking a pale green.
"I feel sick!" She said getting out of the car.
"What did I sa-"

I stopped as I noticed Gumi with Neru and Flower. Neru was dressed in a yellow dress and flower in purple, but Gumi... she looked beautiful, her green hair had a beautiful pastel yellow flower and a pastel yellow dress that was long but didn't go into ballroom style.

"...Um hey..." I said quietly.
She looked up and looked a bit surprised
"You look...um...ha-I mean ho- I mean... Well Good!!! You look good!!." She said bright red.
"Thanks... so do you." I grinned. She blushed harder and my smile grew bigger until I heard a someone being sick.

I turned around and saw Rin throwing up in the bushes.
"Oh Rin!" Gumi said and walked towards Rin.

After Rin stopped being sick We went to the dance hall where Meiko and Dell was with a bunch of other people.
"Hey there guys!" She smiled, "you all look lovely," she paused "have you met my friends Tei, Lola and Rook?" She asked.

We all smiled and said hello then Tei came up to Gumi and I.
"Hey there, your...Kagamine aren't you," she said to me "and your Megpoid right?" She asked.
"You can call me Len." I smiled
"And you can call me Gumi!" Gumi smiled too.
"Aha, great well Im Tei, Meiko's friend."
"Nice to meet you." I grinned.
"And you too." she said kindly then walked off.

Gumi POV

Tei seemed nice but there was something about her, I don't know, maybe it's just me.

I looked at Len and he looked amazing and he was staring at me.

I have been debating wether to tell him how I feel for awhile, but now seems a good time.

"Kagaminw... can I talk to you?" I asked.
"Yeah sure." He said
"Not here." I said. he looked at me confused but nodded.
I took hold of his hand and lead him to the janitors closet which is always unlocked seeing as our janitor is never in school.

It was only big enough for one person really but it was the only place I felt where we aren't surrounded by people.

"Okay, so what would you like to talk about."
"I know you and I arent... well... what I mean is... I... you and... I.." I felt myself getting flustered and sighed "That day you... kissed me, I pulled away..." I said.
"Yeah, well it's okay I understand you don't li-"
I looked and him and shook my head.
"No you idiot! The thing is I like you, I was just shocked and I..." I said and stopped suddenly shaking with fear of rejection. "If you don't like me anymore than that's fine but I-" I said.
He looked at me and suddenly grinned.
"You tsundere." he muttered grinning and pressed his lips against mine.

I looked at him shocked but didn't pull away. We stopped kissing and he looked at me happily.
"Your cute when you blush." He said. I laughed and took his hand and got out of the closet feeling claustrophobic.

We walked hand in hand to the dance and it was close to our performance.

We all set up on the stage and waited for our performance, Len looked at me and winked and I smiled. I looked at the side to see Neru talking to Rook, one of Meiko's friends, she was blushing and I smiled happily. She's gotten over Leon!

"Ready?" Flower asked.
I nodded and then we all sang a song that belonged to one of us.

Spice
World is mine
Lost one's weeping
I =fantasy
And lastly A fake psychotropic.

We all sang and got an applause and we all took a bow, when I got off stage I saw Len was talking to Rook, he was one of Meiko's friends but we already knew him from our Drama classes.

"Just watch out for Tei, Kagamine." He said
"Why?" He asked.
"She seems to like you and she'll do whatever to get you to like her back." He said. I looked over at Tei who was talking to Rook's sister Ruko.
"Tei seems nice and all but I'm with Megpoid, and I really like her."
"Don't let Tei hear you say that." He said.

I walked towards them and smiled.
"Hey Kagamine, you did really good." I smiled.
"Thanks Megpoid, you were awesome too." Len smiled. I felt my face go bright red. Rook looked at us a bit confused.
"You guys are going out right?" He asked we nodded "Then what's with the whole last name thing?" He asked.
"Um..." I said looking down at my feet.
"Fine, Megpoid.. May I call you by your first name?" He asked
"On one condition Kagamine, I can call you by yours." He looked at me and nodded.
"Sure thing Gumi." He smiled. I giggled looking at him.

So its been over a month again... And its a late update I know, but, I was trying to do something digital for the chapter art and it failed, so I'm sorry, so here's a picture off of the lovely Interweb! Rui and Rei kagene.

And just remember that I will always update, it just may be late.
