Chapter 28: Meiko VS Yukari

*3 hours before*

Yukari POV

I was running late to meet Yuma-kun at his house. He said he had something important to tell me. I said I would meet him at his ten minutes ago... it's still a twenty minute walk to his house, I gave up walking and started running. I didn't want to upset Yuma-kun.

I look at my watch and don't look where I'm going. I suddenly bump into something and fell back.
"Heh. Are you late? Are you late for a very important date?" A voice said. I looked up and saw Dell-kun and Meiko - chan stood there.
"Oh hello Meiko-chan and Dell-kun! How are you?"
"I would have been better if you didn't crash into me." Meiko-chan said glaring at me.

Meiko - chan didn't seem like her usual happy self. I was a bit confused.
"Oh, I'm sorry... I'm just late." I say quietly "I didn't mean to crash into you."
"Aww... is the poor rabbit late. Who are you going to meet the Queen of Hearts?" Dell-kun asked. I ignored him.
"No, I bet you it's that Yuma guy." Meiko smirked. I looked away feeling my face go bright red."It is isn't it!" She laughed.
"Y-Yeah... you're right Meiko - chan." I said.

Dell chuckled. "I hope it's not a date, that Yuma is getting close to that Gumi slut."
"Gumi...slut...?" I repeated.
"Yeah. I mean Gumi steals everyone's boyfriends. She got with me at Yuma ' s party, she even tried to get with me when her friend Rin had a crush on me, she's stolen Len from Tei, her next targets Yuma." He smirked.
"T-thats not t-true! Gumi isn't a slut!" I say looking at them trying to control my temper.

Dell tried to hook up with Dell at Yuma ' s party... and Tei... well I'm sure Gumi liked Len before Tei was even at this school.

"Well what about this then?" Meiko asked getting a photograph out of her pocket. She passed me a picture and it was off Yuma hugging Gumi. I felt a small pang in my heart and I felt sudden anger towards Gumi. I had to wait a moment and then I calmed myself down.
"Gumi and Yuma are just friends!" I say now yelling.
" Aww is the little rabbit angry?" Dell laughed.
"Yes! She is! Now stop trying to turn me against my friend you jerk." I yelled.
"Aww is the rabbit feeling upset?"He carried on taunting. I glared at him.
"The rabbit should learn not to mess with us." Meiko smirked. "Now you have two seconds to get out of our way or you'll be sorry."

I looked at Meiko confused. "What the...?"
"1." I stood completely still. "2." Dell smirked.
"We warned you Yukari." Meiko said as she grabbed a knife out of her pocket.

I left my chainsaw at home due to me running. And I'm pretty sure health and safety completely disproves of running with a chainsaw, but now Meiko had a weapon and I don't.

Meiko grinned and kicked me to the floor. Everything went black, and when I woke up I felt pain throughout my body. I looked around to see that Meiko and Dell where nowhere to be seen. I looked at myself, I had wounds everywhere. I then looked at the time. "Holy Chainsaws! I'm even more late for Yuma-kun!" I say. I try to get up but I realise Meiko stabbed both of my legs and blood was pouring out of them. She also stabbed my arms and my stomach. Geez all this pain. I was expecting to pass out any second.

It was daylight, therefore I thought someone would see me. I crawled back to Yuma ' s house in so much pain. I was right outside his gate when I caught a glimpse of the purple haired guy.

It turns out Yuma was stood outside waiting for me.
"Y-Yuma..." I say quietly.
"Yukari? Is that you?" I hear him say. I felt hot tears pouring down my face. I was so late for him... and he never gave up on me.
"Y-Yes Y-Yuma-kun." I say quietly as I start to crawl into his view. I was kind of crawl - limping due to all the wounds.

Yuma stared at me with wide - eyes.
"Yukari?! Wh-what the hell happened?" He said looking at me.
"I-im sorry I'm late, I got into a fight with Meiko over Gumi... it seems as if she won... please don't hate me Yuma." I say looking up at him with tears in my eyes. They where threatening to overflow, I managed to get them in control for a brief moment.
"Yukari, I'm not mad." He said quietly and got out his phone and kneeled down next to me. He pulled me in his arms and held me tight. All of the pain soon melted away.
"Hello? Yes. Ambulance please." He said into his phone.

I looked up at Yuma. His jaw was clenched together and he looked adorable with his face in that same old determined look.

I suddenly felt weak and uneasy.
"Y-Yuma-kun. I don't feel so good..." I say.

That's when everything went black.

STUPID MEIKO! WHY'D YOU HAVE TO BE SO RUUUUDE? DON'T YOU KNOW SHE'S HUMAN TOO? SHE'S GONNA MARRY HIM ANYWAY!

No, I'm joking, but here's the fight scene between the two... when I say fight scene, I mean Meiko (Sakine) stabbing Yukari.
