Gumi x Len: my ex-bestfriends brother

Chapter 17

Len P.O.V.

"Rin!" Gumi screamed. I felt frozen. she was just lying there her eyes closed.
"Someone call an ambulance!" I yelled.

Time went so slowly. people where just starring at her, she was bleeding and the car hit her hard. I was panicking. I can't loose her, she's my twin. I refuse to loose her.

"Rin please wake up." I heard Gumi say. I looked at her tears were running down her face. "Rin please." she pleaded.
"It's no use." I said trying to stay strong.

Soon the ambulance arrived taking gumi and I with her.
This isn't the way it goes. I'm the one who does first, I'm the one who dies protecting her sister, why couldn't I protect her then?

We arrived at the hospital and Gumi and I sat in the waiting room.
"This is my fault." Gumi said.
"What?" I asked looking at her confused.

Before she could answer a nurse came in.
"Kagamine Len?" She asked. I stood up.
"How is she? Is she alright?" I asked
"She fractured her hip and she's in a coma, she's still in a stable condition however we don't know when she will wake up."

I heard the door slam and looked to see Gumi had left.
"Please excuse me." I muttered and walked out of the door. Gumi was running down the hospital doorway.
"Gumi!" I yelled. she didn't turn back. I ran after her and once again she didn't notice until I grabbed hold of her arm. "Where are you going?" I asked.
"I can't do this Len, I can't sit their knowing my best friend is just laying there, knowing I did this to her, knowing... Knowing." She burst out into tears and I hugged her.
"You didn't do this." I muttered. I felt my eyes. Sting too although I refused to cry in front of Gumi.
"Len, listen to me." she said looking at me with her green eyes. "I love you Len, I physically do, I always told myself that Love can only happen when your older but I'm seventeen and I think I can say I love you. So I'm doing this for a reason." she said and kissed me. The kiss was desperate and sorrowful. I tried to kiss her back but she had already pulled away and was walking towards the door.
"Gumi!" I yelled.

She turned around and smiled at me as tears where pouring down her eyes.
"Look after Rin." she said.

Gumi POV

I walked out of the door and into a taxi it took me home and I walked upstairs avoiding all Gumo's questions and walked into the bathroom and cried. I should have stayed away. whoever I'm dealing with is dangerous and they did this to Rin. I don't know who it is but it doesn't matter anymore, if they can hurt one of my friends they can hurt another one, and I refuse to take that risk tomorrow I will be a new Gumi, I will hang around different people and avoid all of my friends. Even Len.
