Chapter 32

Len POV

"What?" I asked looking at Gumi slightly confused.
"That's the only thing that would make sense at why Dell is helping Sakine, right? " She says. "Think about it, If Sakine likes Kaito... and they get together.. then Miku is left on her own, weak and vulnerable, she'll want a shoulder to cry on and that can be Dell." She says.
"How did you figure this out?"
"Why else would Dell get so involved, there has to be some motive for him, right?" She asks.

Geez she's smart. Kind of scary actually. Or maybe I'm just really dumb...

"I need to ask him tomorrow at school."She says.
"What why?! Are you nuts?" He asks.
"Nope! But then I can help him fully, and that also means he can't hurt anyone, because I have something against him."
"He can't hurt anyone?" I repeat "Gumi! He can hurt you!" I yell.
"Yeah but I'm not that Importan-" I cut her off.
"Yes you are!" I say. She just stares at me for a moment.
"If I get hurt saving my friends then I'll be able to live with that. But if I just stand by and watch them get hurt I wouldn't be able to forgive myself." She says.

She then looks at me as her eyes widen and she smiles slightly.
"I have an idea!" She says happily.

Gumi POV

I walk over to Dell. We've just had geography, and everyone was gloomy. They had all heard that something had happened to Yukari, the lively bunch that we all where? That had all gone.

We where all trying to fake a smile, but still, our class was distraught at the thought of Yukari laying in a hospital bed.

"Dell can I speak to you for a second?" I ask. He looks at me and sighs then looks at his group of friends he was with.

We walk the opposite direction of any of the people we know and I look at Dell directly in the eyes.
"It's over between Len and I."I mutter. He just kinds of stares at me and doesn't say anything.
"Oh." Is all he says, although I can see a small smirk forming.
"So now that it's over between Len and I..." I trail away " Why not date me?" I ask.

His eyes widen slightly and he looks at me as if I'm insane.
"What the hell Megpoid?" He asks.
"Well you and I both know that you don't actually like Sakine ' s sister Meiko, you really like Miku."
"How'd ya know?" He asks his eyes staring straight at me.
"Why else would you help destroy Kaito and Miku ' s relationship?" I ask.

There was silence."I still don't get what this has to do with you and I."
"Because," I say faking a smirk "if everyone thinks you're dating me, then that means they'll leave you alone."
"Who will?" He muttered lowly, his crimson eyes staring at me blankly.
"Sakine." I said " Look... just go with it!"
