Gumi x Len: my ex-bestfriends brother

Chapter 18

Gumi POV

I got my things and walked out the door. School today, school without Rin. I made a promise yesterday I wont let anyone else get hurt, therefore I'm going to ignore my friends today.

Find some new friends, stay away from all the other ones.

This should be interesting.

I walked into the school gates and Flower and SeeU where there.
"Hey, Gumi, you okay?" They said with concerned faces.

I walked straight past them, past Meiko and Dell engulfing each others faces like a white blood cell does to a pathogen, and past a group of girls chatting about how cute Rook is.

I walked to my locker and put my books in when I saw another note.

'That's what you get for messing with me."

Messing with them? I don't have a clue who it could be. It's not Tei, it's not Mayu, are there anymore yanderes I may have upset?

I sighed and ripped it up.

The lessons went slowly. I heard from the girls whispering in the back Neru and Rook are an item. I really wanted to give Neru a hug and lecture her on pregnancy but I couldn't because my stalker could be in this room.

All of my friends tried to talk to me and I ignored them, including Momo.

At lunch it was awkward. I sat alone quietly at an end of a table.
"Yuuuuma! Stop stealing my hair clip!" A girl with purple hair yelled. A boy with pink hair laughed and the girl scowled at him. The guy gave her a playful grin and she stuck her tongue out and looked away.
"Your such a bully!" She said.

She reminded me of Rin.

Rin.

I wonder how she's getting on, il visit her today but only if Len isn't there. I looked over at my regular lunch table to see them all stare at me with a look of despair on their faces. I looked at Len. He wasn't looking at me he was looking at his food whilst playing with it with his chop sticks.

I guess he's missing Rin.

I was pulled away from my thoughts when the purple haired girl sat opposite me with a soft smile.
"You look sad, what's wrong?" She said.
"What?! Me! No I'm not sad!" I said.
"Yukari-chan knows your lying! whats your name?" She asked.
"Gumi Megpoid." I replied.
"I'm Yukari-chan, that's Yuma-kun over there." she said pointing to the pink haired guy,
"That's lapis-chan... she has a rare case of amnesia, but she's really nice!" She said pointing to a tiny fairy girl with blue hair. She must have been about fifteen cm tall. she wore a beautiful gem on her head.
"Then there's Merli-chan!"
"I told you not to add chan to my name, it makes me sound like a Girly girl!" she said almost glaring at Yukari.
"Sorry Merli!" Yukari said with an apologetic smile. "She's Lapis-chans older sister." she smiled. I nodded taking the information in.
"And then there's Miki-chan." she said as a long red haired girl looked at me and smiled with a wave.
"Hi there! Your friends with Kaito aren't you?" She smiled.
"Sort of." I said. She smiled.
"He never shuts up about how His girlfriend never stop talking about you and Kagamine Rin." she said with a smile.

I smiled sadly and Merli glared at Miki.
"You idiot! Kagamine is in hospital!" Merli said. Miki looked at me shocked.
"Oh dear! I'm so sorry!" She apologised.
"Moron!" Merli said.
"Merli, please try and be nice." Lapis said.

Yukari and Yuma where playing an arm wrestle whilst the argument between Merli and Lapis started.

Len POV

Do you ever feel like your life is falling apart? Like everything is wrong? Like everything you've ever loved is brutally torn away from you?

That's how I feel. Im hearing the laughs of Gumi, she's with Yuma and his friends and it's making me wonder if she likes Yuma.

She's been ignoring me all day, and the rest of us. It's like... she doesn't care anymore. About any of us, like she's turned her back in us.

But I don't understand, why?

I carry on hearing her cute giggles fill the room and I can't take it anymore.
"L-Len!" Miku called. I ignored her call and carried on walking.

I look back to see Gumi staring straight at me, as soon as our eyes meet she looks back at Yuma whose telling some weird joke that's making her table laugh.

Idiot.

I walk out of the hall and walk towards the school forest where a bunch of kids about a year older than us are talking.
"I love Flower!" A blonde boy said.
"Yeah, we get the point," a green haired girl muttered.

I walked past them and near a tree where Tei was with her friends.

She noticed me and smiled.
"Hi Len-kun!" She said with a cheerful voice. She must have noticed my expression and walked over to me. "What's wrong?" She asked "is every-"
Before she could finish I slammed my lips on hers.

Gumi isn't the only one who can move on quickly.

I know I'm writing this and all but I feel like screaming at Len xD

Sorry for the late update... but it's here...

I promise I will try to update on time next time!

What do you think of Len in this chapter? Is he being a mushroom head? Or is it natural for him to think that Gumi's moved on?

By the way can I just make something clear.

I don't know if you guys know this and you guys haven't asked or anything but I just wanna say;

There will be no lemons in this book! If there is people sleeping together I will make sure you know about it but not in a lemon way, it will probably be the next morning (in the fanfic) you find out.
