Chapter 21

(*Two weeks later*)

Len POV

I sit on my sofa talking to Tei.
"Len-kun?" She asks softly.
I look at her and meet her soft tone with a smile that matches.
"A-Are you okay?" she asks.

I look at her.

Two weeks ago today Rin died. Master picked her up and took her back to his lab with him. She was just there, lifeless. Her heart cold, her eyes closed, her skin which was once a beautiful peachy colour was now as white as flour.

Gumi and I cried. Tei took me back here and helped me through it.

Gumi was left at the hospital while Tei distracted me from my thoughts.

I haven't seen Gumi in School since it happened. She hasn't been in for ages. I'm worried about her. I miss her a lot and I wanted to go visit her but if I did then Tei would come, and we all know how.... protective Tei is.I only came in yesterday because Tei dragged me there.

I smile at Tei.
"Yeah I'm fine!" I say. With that I kiss her lips and wrap my arms around her waist.

She blushed and smiled at me.
"I love you Len-kun."

I didn't say anything and just held her close to me.

An hour later we where at a party.

Gumi POV

The party was rescheduled to today. They did this for my benefit.

To be honest I don't even want to go. Im still mourning over Rin.

If I'd listen to the threats she would still be here.

But I didn't.

So her bloods on my hands.

I got out of the taxi and rang the doorbell.

When the door opened I expected to see one of the table members not Dell and Meiko.

"Hey Gumi!" Meiko smiled.
"Umm." I say.
"No you haven't got the wrong house, everyone in the school showed up to the party." Dell said. I nodded.
"Want something to drink?" Meiko asked.

I shook my head.
"No thanks." I Said.

I was about to walk away when Meiko started talking.
"You know it's kinda weird Gumi." She said "It seems like your avoiding us." She said looking at me straight in the eyes. I didn't get a chance to say anything before Dell chirped in.
"You ignore us, you moved table's, you push everyone to the side." he said.

Was he... Smirking?

"And it's upset a lot of us. I mean Miku, SeeU, Neru and Flower, they all hate the fact your not with us anymore." Meiko said.
"I'm not avoiding you guys, I just-"
"Just what?" Dell asked his smirk getting bigger.
"Don't worry." I smiled.

I went to Yuma who was once again stealing Yukari's clip.
"YUUUUMMMMAAAA-KUUUUUN!" Yukari yelled.
"Your so annoying, Yuma-kun!" Yukari said.

That's when Yuma and Yukari noticed me.
"Hey Gumi!" Yuma smiled.
"Hi guys." I said returning there smile. I looked at them both. "You guys need to get together now!" I said laughing. I dont normally ship people, but c'mon, lets face it, this is Yuma and Yukari. They both went the same colour as Yuma's hair.

That's when I caught the sight of Len and Tei kissing. Well they weren't kissing they where having a make out session.

"Len." I mumbled trying not to notice the pang in my chest.

That's when Miku caught sight of me and ran towards me crying her eyes out.
"GUMI! I'VE MISSED YOU SO MUCH!" she yelled crying.

I looked at her and smiled slightly as she hugged me.
"I've missed you too Miku, how are you and Kaito?" I asked.
"Great! We made Leek ice cream." she said.
