Gumi x Len: my ex-bestfriends brother

Chapter 3

Gumi POV

"Kagamine, wh-what are you doing?" I asked him.
"Megpoid..." He looked at me and sighed "Your crying." He said as he walked towards me.

"Wh-what?!" I asked confused. I then realised he was right. My face felt warm and wet, I went to go and wipe my tears away but it was too late, Len was already there wiping them away for me. I looked up at him, his blue eyes staring into mine. I felt my face go warm and he chuckled.
"Your blushing Megpoid." He smiled softly.
"What are you doing?" I repeated trying to change the subject.
"Making sure that you don't get killed." he said.
"Killed?! What?!" I asked.
"Your upset and angry, and your a klutz, have you even noticed where we are?" He asked.

I looked around and saw that we were right by a busy road. Cars where constantly going past.

"See? You need to be more careful." He said. I looked at him.
"How did you know about me running out?" I asked.
"You and Rin where shouting, I could here everything you said." he said. I felt my face go warm again.
"So you like Dell, huh?" He asked.
"Oh please, not you as well." I said sadly.
"No, I'm asking, do you?"
"No, I meant everything I said to Rin." I sighed.
"And she still doesn't believe you," He sighed "come on, it's getting late why don't we go out for some food?" He asked.

I looked at him, Len wanted to have go out to eat with me? Even though I've just fallen out with his twin sister? Sorry did I mention Len wanted to go out to eat with me?

I yet again felt my face go warm and he grinned.
"Im taking that as a yes?"

I giggled and nodded and he smiled. We started walking towards a restaurant and I immediately recognise it.
"We...we used to come here as kids!" I say happily.
"Yep." Len smiled.

I looked at the place. Gumo, Rin, Len and I used to come here all the time, there was a year when all our birthday parties were held here.

Len took my hand and I felt my face go warm again. we went inside then he realised what he was doing and looked at me blushing bright red.

"Uh...s-sorry." He smiled nervously letting go of my hand.
"Th-that's okay." I smiled back.

We got a table and sat down. We were silent and ordered and only started talking when our food arrived.

"This feels weird." Len said.
"What?" I asked.
"This, just being here again, it feels like we're kids again just without Rin and Gumo." He sighed.
"Yeah, I agree, but this place has changed quite a bit." I smiled.
"Really?" He asked confused.
"Yeah, the wallpaper used to be purple and blue and now it's orange and yellow."

I immediately blushed bright red, it was Len and mine's favourite colour.

"Yeah I guess your right." Len smiled not noticing. "But they've still got the same uncomfortable chair and table's." he said.

I giggled and then we finished our meal. The waitress came and Len and Looked at her shocked.
"Zatsune?!" We said in unison.
"Oh hey you guys! how's your date going?" She smirked.
"Wha???" I asked
"D-Date?!" Len repeated. His face was bright red and I'm guessing so was mine.
"Yeah, that's what it's called when a boy and girl go out for dinner." she chuckled.
"No, Len and I were just..."
"We were just..." Len continued.
"Oh whatever, I know it's a date, so here's your bill." she smiled. I got my purse out to pay but Len stopped me.
"Gumi it's my idea so iI'll pay."
"No, Len I want to pay."
"Zatsune take the money now."
"No don't!"
"I'm sorry Gumi, a guy must always pay on a date." She said taking lens money.
"Your starting to sound like your sister." I sighed. "speaking of which say hi to Miku for me." I continued
"Yeah yeah, whatever, now get lost we've got another couple waiting." she grinned. I looked at her and sighed then Len and I left.

"We'll thanks for the dinner." I smiled "I best be off." I say.
"What? No way! It's too dark for you to walk home by yourself." Len replied.
"Len, your starting to sound like Gumo." I said.
"I don't care! If you get hurt by one of the gangs I wouldn't forgive myself." He smiled "So at least let me walk you home."
"No, I'm a big girl, I can defend myself." I said "I'm a Klutzoid, nothing bad ever happens to Klutzoids." I smiled.
"A klutzoid? " Len asked.
"Yes, a really clumsy person."
"I disagree." he said sadly "clumsy people are the perfect target for gangs." He paused "plus your a girl, it's even worse."
"Just because I'm a girl doesn't make me a target!" I said.
"Does."
"Doesn't."
"Does."
"Does not! Does not! Does not!"
"Does."

That's when I started noticing we where already n walking towards my house.

I sighed and looked at him who was grinning happily. We got to my house and I thanked him for walking me home and the food. It was late so I went to bed after and started thinking about tomorrow.
