*the day before the dance*

Gumi POV

Gumo, Dell, Meiko, Kaito, Miku, Flower and Neru where waiting for Rin and Len at the bus station.

"I hope they come." Miku says.

"I'm sure they will," I smile. Then I look at Dell. "By the way are you and Len friends yet?" I ask.

"Friends?" Meiko asks.

"I got into a fight the day you arrived at school." Dell said to Meiko. Then he looked at me and shrugged.

From around the corner we heard loud footsteps.

"LEN HURRY UP!" Rin said angrily.

"SLOW DOWN RIN!" Len yelled. Rin came around the corner dragging Len annoyed. She let go of len and Len tripped on a rock and fell right beside me.

"And you call me the klutz." I laugh. I offer my hand to help him up and he looks at me and smiles and takes it. He gets up then looks at Rin.

"Idiot." He mutters to her.

Rin giggled "I love you too big brother."

"Where's seeU?" Len asked.

"I think its Usee's girlfriends birthday and they were invited to her party." Miku said.

"Why?" Kaito asked "is she your girlfriend?" Kaito chuckled.

"No that's Megpoid's job." Dell chuckles."

"WAIT WHAT?!" Gumo and Rin say.

"AHHH NOW I SHIP YOU!!" Rin yells jumping up and down.

"Rin we're no-" I was saying.

"Oh look, there's the bus!" Meiko said.

Before I could explain anything we got onto the bus. And everyone started talking. I looked at Len who was looking at me blushing.

"So wahat colour dress do you want?" Miku asked me.

"Orange." I say.

"You should try a different colour for once." Dell says.

"At least she wears a bright colour." Gumo mumbles.

"Hey! I have an idea! Since you and len are together you guys should wear the opposite colours." Rin said.

"We aren-"

"Like black and white?" Flower asked.

"No, like gumi wears yellow and Len wears orange..."

"Guys we're no-"

"OH MYGOSSHH!!! YEAH!!!" Miku said. "We need to get you guys sorted as soon as we get to town."

I ignored them and sighed then looked at Neru who was staring out of the window quietly.

"Hey... Neru... Are you okay?" I ask worried

"Hmm... Oh yeah sorry!" She smiles looking at me.

I looked at her and nodded however still not sure.

"Are you excited for the dance?" I asked.

"Not really, I'll perform with you guys then watch everyone with couples and I'll ju-" she stopped herself there and smiled. "S-sorry... I didn't mean to... Its just... I don't know." She smiled.

"Is this about Leon?" I asked. She shrugged.

"It was stupid of me thinking I had a chance with Leon-senpai." She sighed.

"No it wasn't, you deserve better then Leon, if he chose lily over you then he is crazy." I smiled "plus there are much more guys better looking then Leon." I smile. Neru laughed.

"Its okay for you, you've got Len, but a girl like me never gets her crush."

"Len and I aren-"

"COME ON GUMI WE'RE HERE!" Rin called.

I was about to tell Neru that Len and I aren't a couple but she had already gotten of the bus.

I not off the bus too and miku insisted that all the girl and boys separated to go shopping.

"Fine by me." Dell said "I don't really want to go shopping in girls stores." He laughed. So we all went together in gender groups.

"What kind of dresses are you thinking of getting Flower?" Miku asked.

"Purple... Grey and maybe just maybe black."

"Why not try another colour?" Rin suggested

"Like what?" She asked.

"Red?" Meiko suggested.

"Or maybe Orange."

"Hey what about Teal!" Miku smiled happily.

"All of them are too bright for me." She says and we all laugh.

I look over at Neru who was looking very sad, I wanted to say something, but I knew it wasn't the right time.

"Ahh what about this shop!" Miku said running into a really girly shop.

"She's only this hyper, loud and girly when it comes to clothes and shopping." Rin said.

I glanced at Meiko who was gazing at a red hairband in the shop. It had a red bow on it.

"You should get it." I smile

Meiko looked at me a little surprised and smiled,

"Its not my thing, though maybe my sisters..." She said with almost a sad smile.

"You have a sister?" I asked.

"Yeah and a brother," she said. "They live with my mum and dad somewhere, Im not aloud to see them." She said.

"What? Why?" I asked

"It doesn't matter." She said then smiled "anyway how are you and Len."

"Oh we're not da-"

"Hey Meiko!" Miku called "this looks like it would really suit you!!" She interrupted
