Next day, i had an afternoon class with the seventh year students. Ginny and Hermione walked in but separate. Somehow Hermione ended up sitting with Padma and Ginny a couple desks behind with Dean. Neville and Luna were sitting in row between them.

"Hi." I gulped, "Most of you... well all of you know me. I'm just filling in for your Professor Grannit, since he's recovering from the.. incident..." my voice lowered so I wouldnt laugh, "...from jinxing techniques with the second years." Most people giggled and i cleared my throat.

"Um, today we're just going to talk about the Forbidden curses. Sort of a small practical, to help you get started." I clapped my hands together in front of me. Ginny was talking to Dean but paused at what I'd mentioned. She looked up with a strong gulp, that I watched move her throat.

"We aren't practicing them. Don't worry." I chuckled, "But I've been told that these curses will be needing an essay final in N.E.W.Ts exams. I realize the topic may be sensitive to most of you but its best you learn and pass your exams. Right?" They all nodded, with slight murmurs.

"Good." I nodded.

A hand rose.

It was a girl I recognized. Dark hair and eyes. Marietta. She was sitting next to Cho.

"So, you think its okay to teach us forbidden curses since you've survived one?" She looked at me sour.

"He survived thats why you're here. Get back to your book, Marietta. No one's got the time for your tantrums or sob stories." Ginny grumbled, shaking her head.

I was shocked for a few seconds. Was I supposed to continue teaching?

Another hand.

Hermione.

"Yes." I pointed at her.

"Wow, so he just ignores when his girlfriend misbehaves in class?" Marietta spoke again.

"I dont. Thats why, ten points from Gryffindor and ten points from Ravenclaw for misbehavior towards a Professor and speaking off topic. Now, what would you like to say, Hermione?"

Ginny looked at me and I saw a little grin at the corner of her lips but then she turned back to Dean who was murmuring something in her ear.

"What did you mean by essays?" Hermione asked.

"Its basic. You're supposed to know all there is to know about an Unforgivable Curse. You will be accessed on your understandings of it, its origins, its effects, why its forbidden, and then every counter curse to it or related." I explained, "I do realize that this is never something that we were supposed to learn but after careful consideration, the administration finds it best to let the N.E.W.T students have some knowledge of it, "Does that settle well with you?" I looked around a briefly at Marietta and then Cho who looked at me reluctant.

"Name one of the curses for me, please." I asked around.

A hand.

"Yes, Hermione."

"Imperius Curse. A curse forbidden for its ability to compel anyone by the wizard or witches will." Hermione answered proudly.

"Excellent. Five points for Gryffindor." I offered and Hermione nodded with a small grin.

We discussed Imeprius curse for a few minutes before I asked around for another.

This time, Neville raised his hand.
