Harry

Before everyone could scram, Albus, James and Lily crowded together.

"You better stick with Uncle Eddie, Lil." James muttered.

"I'll be fine. I can take care-"

"Oh, for once, listen to me." James hissed.

"Fine." She nodded and James wrapped an arm around her shoulders, hugging her close.

"This will work." Albus assured him and James tapped his shoulder. We all could only watch until Ginny walked ahead and kissed the top of Albus's head. The kids turned in her embrace and i walked for them as well. I tapped James' back and Lily crawled through in my embrace. I kissed the top of her head.

"It will." I assured and they all nodded.

"Now. Go." Ginny whispered.

"Everybody stick with your partners. We meet near the house." I ordered around and everyone spread.

"Dad, are you alright?" James asked as we crawled through the bushes.

"Yeah. I'm fine James. Duck." I hissed and we hid in the bushes.

"We should split."

"Did you not here my order before?" I hissed.

"Go." James muttered and we walked through the trees. We put on our cloaks, nodding at each other and crawled through the place. In a distance, I heard a yell and then a spark.

"Finite!" I heard Eddie yell as a fire distinguished before him.

"Keep running downhill!" I ordered and kept the run going. More flashes started and I saw Ron and Hermione there already, joining the fight with Neville and Luna. Hermione waved her wand gently and a man screamed shooting away in air.

Albus

I was anxious. I asked dad to let me keep mum because I couldnt get the image of her in her last moments out of my head.

"Albus! Albus!" I heard her panting voice as I sat in my room, reading through a book. I snapped up and out of bed to reach her by the door. She took my hand frantically and rushed for the stairs.

"Mum, whats going on?" I asked, suddenly scared as her house slippers tapped the floor as she ran. Her short hair were flying in air as she rushed me to the room beside hers which was her office.

"Mum!" I yelled as we reached. She turned around and faced me, "Baby, hide. James!" She yelled past me and James and Lily were running to us. Mum was pale and her eyes watery. She was barely catching her breath. She pushed all three of us to the darkest corner of the room, past the chest of drawers.

"James, you keep them under here. Promise me."

"Mum whats going on?" Lily whimpered.

"Nothing, sweetheart. Just some people in the house. We dont want them to find you. That's all." Her hands were trembling on Lily's cheek.

"Mum, stop it. Whatever it is, we can help."

"I know, sweetheart. I do. But I want you to be brave. Be strong. Take care of Lily and James. You two do the same for all three of you. Thats what you are here for. For each other. Now stay hidden sweetheart. It will all be okay." She ran a hand on my cheek, "I love you. We love you so much. Now, hide." She threw the cloak on us and James held onto it. I wrapped Lily up in me.
