I don't own any of the characters. All credit goes to the Epic J.K. Rowling of course and always.

Harry

"Whatcher thinkin'?" Barnsite interrupted my thoughts.

"Did you find any leads on what happened with us?" I sighed, leaning back in my chair.

"Honestly, that book you lot mentioned, we asked McGonagall she said it was simply a book, written in with your fates."

"Yeah. I know." I muttered, looking at the parchment with McGonagall's statement.

The king shall be lost while partner will lose her light. The army's strings shall fade, while the warriors forget their way.

That is all that was written in the book. I'd broken it down to what I think, on a parchment below.

King.. Ron.

He'd forgotten his entire family and was raised by a death eater.

Partner... Hermione

Of course, his wife. Hermione wasn't exactly the clever catch on.

Army... the DA

Neville, Eddie, Luna, Nigel and Nancy, people who kept the DA going.

Which meant the Warriors were... Ginny and I.

The only two left in the equation and on top of that, we did lose our way. We weren't with each other. We didn't even know each other.

"Well, what have you figured of that line?"

"Well, it clearly stated us." I sighed, "Honestly, it sounds like a prophecy."

"That's what I thought too. Like a seer predicted this. But how in the Merlin, did it come true? Seers predict what can be your truth, not bend it to their way." Barnsite sighed.

"Right." I tapped my quill to the parchment.

"How's Ginny?"

"She's alright."

"I heard Granger's expecting, congratulations."

"Yeah." I mumbled. Still lost in the paper in front of me. McGonagall mentioned that she received specific intruction on the back that told her to burn the book when everything was settled, thats why she'd done it. I was so confused. I was given the case once I returned. I was the Head of Aurors.

"How are you, Potter?"

"Barnsite, dont you have work to do? Go back to your office." I ordered.

"Fine. But Eddie's going crazy in this case as well. So you better have a chat with him too."

I'd assigned Eddie as Barnsite's new partner after my promotion. They made a good team. Eddie always kept Barnsite straight and Barnsite taught Eddie everything.

"I will. You can go."

Barnsite groaned before leaving my office. I laid back in my chair, rubbing my temple, wondering why the hell was that equation sent to McGonagall and why was she instructed to burn it. There was a knock on the door and my wife's face showed through.

"Hey, brought some lunch?" She grinned.

"Thanks." I smiled as she walked in alone.

"Teddy and James are with mum, so i thought I'd come by with some homemade roasted chicken pie and mashed potato." She smiled, putting the brown bag on my coffee table in the corner. I walked around and sat on the chair while she did on the couch.
