I don't own any of the characters. All credit goes to the Epic J.K. Rowling of course and always.Ginny
It was three in the afternoon when I came downstairs with my little clutch, still charmed to be extended. I'd packed some files, clothes, Harry's Invisibility Cloak and some potions we'd need. Harry and Newt already waited for me.
"How're we going?" Newt asked.
"We disapperate of course." Harry spoke up and we both looked at him, "I've been to Manchester. We're disapparating to the Manchester Piccadilly. Muggle area but I know a safe location." Harry grinned.
"You're amazing you know that?" I chuckled.
"Why do you and Hermione underestimate us so much?" He cocked a brow and ran a hand through his gelled hair. Newt nodded and came up to us. I waved my wand lifted the spell off. I had to risk leaving the house unprotected, "Stay close. I don't want anybody dying or getting splinched." Harry gulped and squeezed my fingers in his hold. Newt took his other hand and then, I went through the most nauseating moment of my life. When the air touched my face again, I bent forward, holding my knees.
"Are you alright?" Harry asked the two of us.
"I'm quite alright." Newt huffed. I exhaled a loud breath and raised a thumb. After composing ourselves, I looked around and then we moved out. The train station was crowded but we remained mellow and close together. I'm sure to everyone we seemed like an odd group but with Newt's slightly red hair with a bit of ginger and red streaks in mine, we looked related. As for Harry, well, he was a grown up and he could deal with himself. Harry's lived through this time so he could understand the surroundings. Newt was new to this so I stuck close to him.
"Alright, he's possibly... is that Barnsite?" Harry stopped and looked around. I followed his gaze and saw what he did. Barnsite walking through the crowd.
I pulled out my phone and prayed to Merlin that it would work. I saw Harry's name and pressed the middle round button. It rang and then a clicking sound.
"Hey." His voice.
"Harry? Hey, how's work?"
"It's crippling." He yawned.
"What? Barnsite tortured you enough already?" I chuckled, licking my lips.
"All he does is throw paper balls at me."
"Is that Ginny?" I heard his voice and my heart relaxed, "Hello, Ginny!" He laughed.
"Barnsite! I want the report!" I heard Ron yell and then I dropped my head.
"Seems like its fun there." I chuckled.
"I can't wait for tomorrow." Harry groaned. Older Harry waved for us to follow and we started following the fake Barnsite.
"Me either. Now go finish your work." I smiled.
"Yep." And then he bid me farewell before cutting the call.
"That's Abernathy." I whispered and we started walking discreetly.
Younger Harry
"Ginny's really missing you?" Barnsite asked with a big wicked grin. I glared at him. I wanted to go back home to her but we finally got Professor McGonagall to let us into Hogwarts after hours. We couldn't go before as that would catch too many eyes and if I left the house before nine, Ginny would ask questions. This was the one mission, I couldn't include her.
We were going to destroy that quill once and for all. For months, it sat in my briefcase, taunting us. Ginny had no idea. I just wanted this to be over so we could move to a better peace.
