George climbed up the stairs, hazily. He was so exhausted from the day he had just experienced. He walked into his room and collapsed his tired, worn out body onto his bed and slept. No, he didn't get into his pjs and no, he didn't care. All he cared about was two things. Clay and Sleep. And he could only do something about one of them things. So, he slept.

The next morning,
George woke up to the sound of his boring, annoying alarm clock. It rang in his eyes violently as he suddenly fell out of his bed.
"George? You ok up there" George's father shouted up the stairs after hearing a thud upstairs.
"Yeah. I'm alright!" George replied, climbing back to his feet. He couldn't be bothered to shower this morning, so, he just walked over to his closet and began getting changed. After he got changed, he walked downstairs to see his father making waffles with extra sugar.
"Morning." George smiled and brushed his hair with his fingers.
"Good morning, son." His father smiled and began putting 3 toasted waffles on a plate and then handing it over to George.George sat down and began eating his breakfast.
"Sooo... Who was that boy I saw you swallowing last night?" George's father joked and laughed.George had forgotten that his father had walked in on himself and Clay kissing!
"WHAT- SWALLOWING?!?? I WASNT SWALLOWING HIM!!" George screamed, his face growing pure red from embarrassment."Yes. You were. Hahahah." His father laughed. "What's his name?"
"Clay. His name is Clay. But I'm not sure about him yet..." George said, kind of sad.
"Not sure about him? You did look sure last night." Derek giggled and began washing some dirty dishes.
"Father! Yes, I'm sure about my feelings for him. But, we're just so different. He's known as the 'bad boy' at school and I'm known as the 'nerd' . We're just complete opposites." George explained as he began eating his second waffle.
"Ah. I see. Well, if you love him then your different cliques shouldn't matter." His father gave George surprisingly good dating advice. After George finished eating, he put his plate in the washing-up bowl and then went upstairs to the bathroom so he could brush his teeth.
After brushing his teeth, George waved goodbye to his father and then walked outside his house. Karl was already there, waiting patiently, as always. George was so grateful to have a friend like Karl.
"Hey George. How was last night? When you were walking home with Clay." Karl asked, nosily.
"It was fine." George tried to just play it off cool.
"Fine? Just fine?" But Karl dig deeper. He wanted to know exactly what happened last night. And, one way or another, he was obviously gonna find out."Ok fine. Me and Clay made out. Happy?" George rolled his eyes and buried his face in his sweaty palms.
"WOAH- I wasn't expecting that. But hey, this is good news! Right?" Karl smiled and gave his friend a fist-pump."Uhh.. yeah. I guess." George said, looking out the window of the car.
"You guess? What's wrong?" Karl asked, suspiciously.
"It's just... you know Clay. He's a total bad boy and I'm literally a nerd. Me and him would never work, right?" George said, still focusing his mind to the outside surrounds from the window.
"I get that. But, it's the same with Sapnap. He hangs out with the jocks and I hang out with.. well... YOU. So, me and him are very different. But, we get past that. And me and him are happy, although we are not official or anything." Karl smiled and laughed.
"Do you want to be official with him?" George asked, genuinely quite invested in his friends relationship.
"Yes. I think I do." Karl smiled.
