> Two days had passed since I went to the police station the first time. I had been back there both other days also. I wanted help from Officer Marshalls who told me to just call her Sherri. She had helped me a lot and even listened to my story. I told her bits and pieces like I told Niall. It was good to finally let it all out. I didn't tell her much more than I told Niall. And neither of them pushed me for more information than I gave them. They each listened carefully when I did speak to them and gave me warm words to help me through it.

> Today was the trail day and even after preparing for this I was still scared. I knew what I had to do but I knew I was going to see him again today. That was going to be the worst part not telling my story more seeing him again. My lives worst nightmare. But Niall was going to be there, he insisted. That day we sat on the couch I told him a few more things and we cried together. Both nights after that before we went to bed he'd ask me a question and I'd answer with as little detail as I could. That night I woke up from a nightmare screaming. He held me until I calmed down. Then he asked what it was about and I told him the truth. Alex coming back from jail and making me leave Niall again. I was going to tell him all my problems from now on. I didn't like having it all inside anymore. When I told Niall this he just hugged me and told me he loved me.

> My parents were going to be there too. I told them that he'd be there and I didn't want them hearing what really went on but they told me they were coming anymore. The friendship my mother had with Alex's mom ended pretty quickly once he got arrested. My mother said they don't talk anymore and shes fine with it. I knew Alex's mother would be there today too. My mother said that his mom says I'm a liar and I should be the one going jail. I laughed because I could lie about him breaking into a hotel room with 5 boys seeing him and two security guards plus Charlie. Who could also testify for me. She was coming today to be there and would go to the stand if they asked. She had come with me to the police station yesterday and talked to Sherri. She told her that they may call Charlie up because she had been the only person that knew. She was also expecting them to call some of his family up to defend him.

> Now I was standing in front of the court house starring at it. Charlie and Niall and Liam were standing at the top waiting for me. My parents had already gone inside.

> "Come on, Carson. Were going to be late." Charlie said to me. I nodded and moved up the steps. We walked down the hall in silence, Niall grabbed my hand and squeezed it. I looked up and gave him a shaky smile.I was shaking and breathing deeply trying to calm myself. We entered the court room and I found more people than I expected. I saw people from Alex's family on one side. I saw my family on the other. My parents, Jeremy and El, no M. Thank god. I saw Tyler. I also saw a few other people I knew. I saw Sherri sitting with a man by her side. She wasn't in uniform right now. She must have had the day off. I waved to her as we past. 'Good luck' she mouthed. I smiled to her. We all kept walking until we were sitting in the first row of pews, I guess you'd call them. It looked like a typical court room. I sat in between Niall and Charlie. We were sitting in the first row so we could easily make our way to the stand. A few people were chatting but I sat silent. I was going over what Sherri had told me in the last three days. I knew Charlie probably was too. That moment a door opened by the judges stand and out came none other than Alex. My blood ran cold and Niall's body stiffened. I squeezed his hand so he wouldn't do anything stupid. I knew how much he was hating Alex right now. I knew how much my whole family was hating him.My parents didn't even know any of the horrible details.
