Chapter 69: Baby happiness

Curtis Taylor Payne. That was the wonderful bundle of joys name. He was 8lbs 7oz. And 18.4 inches long. He was beautiful.

And that baby was currently sleeping his new crib in his new home. Allison and I were sitting and starring at the lovely new child. Allison had been around more lately and I've kind of gotten used to her. And if her and Zayn are dating then I will support it. But I still feel awful for Sarah.

Hes so cute isn't he?" allison asks me. I smile and nod.

"Of course he is. Hes Liam and Charlie's baby." I reply standing. "We should go. Everyone is going to wonder why we took 45 minutes to put the baby in his crib." I tell her. She stands and follows me.

Charlie and the baby came home from the hospital 3 days ago. And You could still tell Charlie was still tired. She wasn't allowed to do much still. Her body needed to rest. So she was. Liam took care of her every need. If she shifted her weight he would instantly ask her if she needed anything. It was adorable to watch really.

Today Zayn, Allison, and Eleanor came by to see the baby. Louis, Niall and Harry were busy today doing..whatever. I think Niall said something about some game or something.

I didn't know everyone was coming over. I actually came over to talk the finishing details on the wedding. Which would be in exactly one month and two days. I was just worried Charlie wouldn't be fully recovered in time. Which is why I came by to talk. I was thinking we might want to push it back.

Allison followed me down the stairs where Charlie was sitting on the couch with a cup of tea in her hand. Zayn and Liam were talking and Eleanor was busy in the kitchen. I sat next to Charlie and smiled at her. She smiled back.

"How does it feel to be a mom?" I asked her. She smiled wider.

"Its great. But so exhausting. My mother was right." Charlie told me. I nodded remembering all the times our parents warned us about being a parent. It was hard but worth it.

"When is she coming up?" I ask her taking her tea and drinking it. She gives me an evil eye but allows it.

"She said she really wants to come, but with the wedding in a month, she'd get here leave and come back. So I think shes going to wait." Charlie sighs. I can tell shes upset.

"Well actually thats what i wanted to talk to you about." I tell her. She looks at me. "With the wedding in a month, are you going to be up for it?" I ask her. "Doctors say usually about 6 weeks recovery." I remind her. SHe rolls her eyes.

"Carson, I have waited so long for this. Whats the big deal if I go 4 weeks for 6. I'll be up for it. Nothing will stop me from marrying Liam." Charlie tells me.

"Are you sure? We can wait until you are fully recovered." Liam says joining the conversation just as El sits next to me handing me my own tea. I thank her and sip it. El makes the perfect tea.

"Yes, Liam. I'm sure. I want to marry you. I'll will be fine and ready." She tells him getting kind of sassy. I can tell shes tired so I drop it. so does everyone else.

"Well then since you are going through with it. What about a honeymoon? Have you guys thought about that?" I ask them. They look at each other.

"Well we can't go then anyway. Cause..." Charlie leaves off but Zayn fills in.

"You can't have sex." He says like its no big deal. Allison and El start laughing.

"Uh yeah. And honestly I don't want to leave my baby. He'll only just be a month old. So we've decided that since the boys go on tour starting in June and go until september that we would just take our honey moon, over christmas." She explains.
