Kakashi nervously fidgeted with the tie around his neck.  He had never had an interview a day in his life.  Sarah laughed from the driver's seat of the car and swatted at his fingers before he could unravel the tie she had struggled to put on him in the first place.  He looked at her, feeling his face flush then put his hand on the back of his neck and laughed softly.

"Stop that, you'll mess it up and it was a miracle I got it tied in the first place," she laughed.  "You're going to be just fine.  We've gone over and over your story as well as all the things you'll need to know to land this interview."

The last three weeks had been amazing in Kakashi's estimation.  They had decorated their bedroom together shortly after he had moved all his stuff into her domain.  The nights were hot and heavy, he couldn't get enough of her.  They had played out all the positions in his books at least a dozen times, fulfilling about every fantasy he had ever had during his celibate years.  On her days off, she took him all over the place showing him her world.  He had been blown away the first time she had taken him into San Antonio at just how large the city, not village, had been.  He had been intrigued at the Alamo as he learned about the history and the sacrifice of the men that had died there.  He had also got more time to know Matt and his family as well as Melissa better.

Last weekend, they had gone to North Padre Island and swam in the Gulf of Mexico for the entire weekend.  It had been quite the weekend and Sarah had gotten a little bit of a sunburn beneath the hot, Texas sun.  He had rubbed her burnt spots with aloe vera which had led to a bit of frolicking of another nature.  During that time, he had started to understand what it was to be in love with someone.  His day just felt empty until he saw her again after she left.

Kakashi had not told her yet.  He was nervous to do so.  She readily told him how much she loved him but finding the words to tell her that he was in love with her felt like such a challenge.  He was almost scared to tell her, afraid it would somehow curse the relationship that had bloomed between them.  Everyone that he had ever been close with had died or been terribly hurt and a part of him had always felt it was somehow his fault.

He was thankful that she had been off today to take him to the interview.  Matt had been taking him out, teaching him how to drive a car but he was not confident enough yet to go out on his own without someone there, even though the other man assured him he had it well in hand.  Matt had forbidden Sarah from teaching him citing that first, it could damage their new relationship, and second that she was too reckless to teach someone how to drive properly.  It had been a good time learning with Matt, though, because Kakashi had started to miss the male companionship he had with his friends in the Leaf and he jived well with the other man.  He could see why Sarah had him as a best friend.

Kakashi leaned over when the time came to go in and gave her a quick kiss.  She smiled at him before telling him, "Good luck" as he exited the vehicle.  He walked up to the large building, clutching the folder that held the resumes that she had created for him.  He also had all of the documents that Sasuke had provided as well as a sealed transcript that Matt had procured from the High School that he "allegedly" graduated from.

A plump, gray haired lady sat behind a glassed in office space across the foyer as he approached.  She looked up and smiled at him as he approached.  "I'm Kakashi Hatake, I have an interview today."

She looked down at a list in front of her then gave a nod, "Yes, I see your name here.  Just have a seat on the bench and someone from HR will be out to get you soon."

Kakashi sat on the bench and looked around the foyer.  He saw a couple of other men dressed as he was except they had brief cases.  He assumed they were attorney's after the description Sarah had given him of what an attorney was... it was not something they had in his world.  He noticed a couple of young women, dressed in a way that was not professional so he assumed they were associated with the inmates being housed inside.  A couple of children were running around the room, causing some havoc - presumably the children of the two women waiting.
