Kanata x reader: My Sleeping Beauty.

(Y/n POV)

Zzz...

"Wake up the both of you... Class is about to start." Karin said as she moved my shoulders and woke me up.

"Huh? Oh right... Classes..." I said as I yawned to still see Kanata, my girlfriend, still sleeping soundly on my lap.

"Wake up, Kanata..." I said as I shook her and woke her up.

"Ah, is it time for classes?" Kanata said lazily.

"Yup! Now, get up." I said as the two of us stood up and went to class.

While walking to class with Kanata, I just can't help but remember how our friendship started to be. It started just because we would often take naps. Kanata is so beautiful, hardworking, and she brightens up my day. I fell for her and confessed... Luckily, she accepted it and the rest is history.

"Huh? Y/n? What's wrong?" Kanata asked as she clung into my arm, making me blush.

"I just remembered my dream, my sweet dream..." I said, making her wonder what I meant.

"Whatever you say, Y/n~" She said as we went to class.

~After classes~

"Kanata, you'll sleep at my apartment today, right?" I asked her as we both went out of the classroom.

"I have a part-time shift today. Are you gonna go straight home?" She said, Kanata works in a store... She's very hardworking at it and does it for her sister.

"Hmmm... Last time you slept at my place, you also had a shift at your part-time job. But the moment you arrived at my place, you immediately took a nap. So I'll watch you work this time!" I said as she nodded.

"Alright, let's go~" Kanata said as we headed to the store.

After a few minutes, we arrived there as Kanata started working. Looking at her work just makes me admire her more. Kanata is sleep deprived to the point that when we spend time together, we'd always have time for a short nap. Kanata got in Nijigasaki because of a scholarship, meaning she has to maintain her grades. Always studying and not to add a part-time job is the reason for her sleep deprivation. I wish I could help her more as her boyfriend but I also don't have that much money on me.

"Oh... Kanata... If only I could help you more..." I said to myself as I waited for the time to pass by sitting in a seat in front of the store.

Time passed as Kanata finished her shift, me and her walked to my apartment.

"Good job, Kanata. You did well today." I said, complimenting her.

"Oh? Where is this coming from? Do you want a kiss?" She said, making me blush. I mean, I do want a kiss... Who wouldn't? But I said it in hopes that maybe she'd feel less tired if I complimented her.

"I- I do... But I just thought you need a compliment just to take a bit of tiredness out of you." I explained. Suddenly, Kanata clung on to my arm and hugged it.

"What are you saying? Just being with you makes me all happy~" She said as she kissed me on the cheek, making me blush harder than ever.

"Whatever you say... Actually, can I have more kisses later?" I said as we both chuckled and continued our way to my apartment.

~A few minutes later~

We made it inside my room as we took off our shoes and sat on the couch.

"You can take a nap if you want. I'm gonna prepare dinner for us." I said as I turned around and headed to the small kitchen.
