(Y/n POV)

The wind blows differently today... News did say that there's gonna be a storm later tonight but it should be a weak one, as mentioned in the forecast.

I put my bag on my seat and exited the classroom. I stayed in the corridor with nothing to do. I hate school... Suddenly, a girl walked past me, a simple action that took my attention.

I hate waking up early...

I really do, but somehow, I just keep on wanting to attend classes...

Her elegance and grace always gets me.

Damn hell, why are you just so damn beautiful, Eli Ayase.

"L/n-san, your club hasn't passed their yearly plan yet. Your club is the only one left. I'm waiting, mr. president." Ayase- san said to me, making me nervous. There's no time to be nervous now, Y/n!

"Ayase-san, they do say that great things are worth the wait." I replied back.

"You've also said that last week, L/n-san. Please be wary of your deadlines and responsibility as the science club president. After all, you and your members are in charge of Otonokizaka's Laboratory, I can't let it be handled by irresponsible people now, right?" Ayase-san said, really putting me in a very troubling position.

"Alright, I'll try to pass next week. Today is Friday, Ayase-san. Let go of the reins a little bit, will you?" I said to her, hoping that it was convincing enough.

"Fine... Very well, I'll see you in class, L/n-san." Ayase-san said as she walked away and went to the direction of the student council room.

Damn, I just can't take her off my head like that. Seeing her is like drinking a love potion and falling in love with her instantly. Call me weird or too attached but that's the only way I can put it. I've had a crush on her ever since our first years.

"Someone's staring too much again~" A voice from behind whispered to my ear, surprising me in the process.

"To- Tojo-san, please refrain from doing that." I said to Tojo-san who was chuckling from my reaction. Nozomi Tojo, vice president of the student council and a close friend and fellow idol of Ayase-san.

"So, are you planning on confessing to her? It's our last year in Otonokizaka yet that love of yours is still being kept inside a bottle." Tojo-san said.

"I'm just a nuisance to her, probably. Besides, confessing to her would just be me wasting her time. She's a student council president and a school idol at the same time, she's guaranteed to be busy all the time." I said as I sighed in defeat.

"I beg to disagree. Have you noticed, Y/n? The wind blows differently today and the same could be said of the cards. Today, such development is expected. Good luck, Y/n." Tojo-san said as she walked away.

"I really can't understand that girl. What does she even mean of the cards blowing differently? Anyways, class is about to start." I said to myself as I went inside the room, followed by the bell ringing.

"Why am I stuck here in the laboratory again? Ugh... It's past dismissal time yet I'm stuck here." Y/n groaned as he rested his head on the table.

"L/n-san? Why are you still here? You should be going home now. It's starting to rain." A voice said, the boy turned around and saw Eli, standing at the laboratory's entrance.
