Umi x reader: Festivity

"All the rooms are filled with Halloween exhibits today..." Y/n said to himself as he walked around the halls of Otonokizaka.

To everyone's surprise, Eli and Chairman Minami have approved of having a short celebration for Halloween with everyone preparing booths and other things.

"Good thing I already helped prepare some equipment in my class-" Y/n continued as he bumped into somebody.

"Nozomi-senpai, Eli-senpai-? I- I'm sorry." Y/n said as he bowed down to the two girls.

"It's fine, L/n-kun~ Do you like our outfits?" Nozomi said as Y/n looked at them, with him seeing his two seniors wearing witch outfits. This made Y/n blush as he was aware of how beautiful the two girls were.

"Is someone flustered?" Eli said, followed by a soft chuckle.

"I- I like your outfits!" Y/n said as he immediately ran away, making the two girls laugh.

Contrary to Y/n's persona when it comes to Nozomi and Eli, Y/n is not someone to get easily flustered. In fact, one may say he's a smooth talker getting himself out of some situations where things may lead to trouble.

Y/n circled around the halls one more time and saw one of the classroom's exhibits that was apparently a maid cafe.

"Right, Honoka's class voted for a maid cafe..." Y/n said as he took a look on what was going on inside the classroom.

"Umi is wearing a maid outfit? Damn, she's cute as hell. Alright, Y/n! Time to capitalize on this moment-"

"Good morning, master!" A voice said, surprising Y/n. y/n turned around and saw Honoka, a childhood friend of Y/n who was also wearing a maid outfit.

"Honoka, you startled me... You look nice, by the way." Y/n said.

"Thanks! Are you staring at Umi-chan again?" Honoka suddenly said, catching the boy off guard.

"How can I resist? Besides, is it really necessary for you to ask me that? We're childhood friends, Honoka. I've had a crush on her for years now. When the three of you decided to be school idols, I was so ecstatic because I got to see Umi in cute outfits. What can I say? Her beautiful face, lovely smile, and precious eyes make it hard for me to compromise." Y/n said, getting a bit ahead of himself.

"Talk less next time, Y/n. It was too much for me." Honoka said as she scratched her head.

"Alright... Anyways, I'll try out some stuff your class prepared." Y/n said as he went inside and took a seat.

"Good morning, mas- Y- Y/n-kun?! What are you doing here?!" Umi said as she was shocked to see Y/n, not expecting for him to try out the cafe.

"Me? I thought of checking out some rooms. You look cute with your outfit, Umi. I like it." Y/n said, making Umi blush.

"Wh- What are you saying?" Umi responded.

"I just said you're cute, as always. Anyways, aren't you supposed to take my order?" Y/n asked back.

"Ah... May I take your order master?" Umi said, making Y/n blush a little.

"I'll order one Umi Sonoda." Y/n said as he grinned.

"Shameless!" Umi said as she hit Y/n's head using the menu.

"Ouch! That was uncalled for-"

"Alright! Let's calm down, Umi-chan..." Kotori said as she took Umi away from Y/n.

"I think you flustered her too much, Y/n." Honoka said.

"Oh well... You can't win at all times." Y/n said with a sigh of defeat.

"I think you just need to confess to her directly." Honoka said.

"Since when did you know anything about love? Anyways, I forgot that I'm a class president. I'll check on my class for a while to see how they're doing." Y/n said as he stood up and left.

"Class pres! Something happened in our classroom!" One of Y/n's classmates said as she ran to him.

"Alright, what happened?" Y/n asked.

"So Tojo-senpai went to our exhibit and apparently she teased one of our 'vampires' to the point of him fainting." His classmate said.

"What? Damn, alright... I'll put on that vampire outfit for the rest of the day." Y/n said as he sighed in defeat and went to the classroom. Their section opted to go for a minitheatre with his classmates inviting other students to watch dressed as vampires, witches, and other creatures of such.

Y/n helped in his classroom for the rest of the day while he still regrets that he didn't even get an opportunity to even order something from Umi.

"Y/n! We came here to see what your class has." Honoka said, being followed by Umi and Kotori.

"Ah! Welcome!" Y/n said.

"You look great, Y/n." Kotori said.

"Thanks, but I wasn't really supposed to wear this... Let's just say it's Nozomi-senpai's fault." Y/n said.

"I'm sorry for what I did a while back, Y/n-kun." Umi said as she bowed down, making Y/n have an idea come up.

"Oh? Little princesses shouldn't bow down to me like that. I'm a vampire! Let me suck your blood and I may just forgive you." Y/n teased , making not just Umi but also making Honoka and Kotori blush.

"Why are the three of you all red? That's a lot of blood you guys are offering. Anyways, come in, the movie is about to start." Y/n said as he laughed. The three girls then went on inside the classroom and watched.

~Dismissal time~

The day was over but Mu's had stayed after the events were over as they had to practice. Y/n stayed behind and watched the school idol group practice, still amazed on how such a great idol group they were.

"Alright, that's enough for now!" Eli said, concluding the practice.

The other members immediately left with the second years staying behind.

"Shall we go now? Actually... Honoka, Kotori, can you please leave me and Umi for a while?" Y/n said, the two smiled and left the two alone.

"Umi, I'm pretty sure I hadn't received my order yet." Y/n said, grinning in the process.

"I really can't understand you, Y/n-kun." Umi said.

"You're just dense, Umi. All these years you're so dense, or is it just you being in denial?" Y/n said as he pulled Umi close to him and gave her a kiss on the lips.

"Is that enough for you to know what I truly feel? Also, Honoka and Kotori, you guys can show yourselves now." Y/n said as Honoka and Kotori sighed in defeat, revealing that the two didn't really leave.

"I love you, Umi." Y/n said as he hugged the Umi, who was still silent, still comprehending the sudden events.

"I- I love you too" Umi said as she accepted the hug.

"This Isn't a tad bit close to what I was expecting during the Halloween season but I'll take it." Y/n thought to himself as he savored the moment,
