"President! Here is the paperwork we have for the month!" Tsugumi, my secretary said.

"Ah, thank you! Do you know where Hina is? Please find her, we'll have something to discuss later." I asked her as I can't start a meeting without Hina, my vice president..

"I'll find her for you, Y/n-san. I'll be going now." Tsugumi said as she started going out of the room.

I'm Y/n L/n, student council president of Haneoka High School. Today, I have received news that Haneoka will be celebrating it's school festival with Otonokizaka, a nearby school. If I'm gonna be honest, I'm not one for this. I think it would be better off that Haneoka would celebrate it alone but I guess it wouldn't hurt, I am pretty acquainted with Ayase-san and Tojo-san, the president and vice president of Otonokizaka, respectively.

"Y/n! We can start the meeting now." Hina said as she entered the student council room with Tsugumi. You gazed over to the pig pile of papers in your table, feeling fatigued already just by looking at it.

"Alright, let's talk about the festival..."

~Few days later~

Today, I'm going to the mall to buy stuff for a project.

"Is that who I think she is? Ayase-san, hello!" I said as I went near a blonde-haired girl.

The blonde-haired girl turned around and I was right, it was Ayase-san.

"L/n-san, fancy meeting you here." Ayase-san said.

"I could say the sa-" I suddenly paused.

"What's wrong, L/n-san?" Ayase-san asked.

"You see that girl over there? She's my ex." I said as I pointed to a girl with mint-colored hair with a fairly long length.

"She is? I never knew you had an ex." Ayase-san responded with a little tone of shock.

"Yep. I have a favor... Can we pretend we're dating for today?" I asked her, making her blush.

"Wh- What?! I- I can't..." Ayase-san said.

"C'mon, it'll be fun-? I guess... Help me make her jealous." I said as I chuckled.

"F- Fine... I was supposed to buy things for a project today but I guess this won't take long." Ayase-san said, still flustered from my remarks.

"Perfect! I was also going to buy some materials! We're so compatible, Eli!" I said with a louder voice than normal, earning a bit of attention.

"L/n-san, why did you call me by my first name?" Ayase-san said quietly.

"Well, it would be weird if we aren't on a first-name basis. Anyways, let's go buy the materials we need." I said to her as she surprisingly held my hand when we started to walk.

"Aya- Eli?" I asked.

"Y/n, we're a 'couple', right? Of course we need to act like one." Ayase-san said. Wow, she suddenly acted in character. She's pretty interesting...

Me and Ayase-san spent the duration of our time in the mall looking for the stuff we needed to buy. We had some conversations here and there but we never really got too deep. But it still felt like I knew more about her while she knew more about me. Today has been more interesting than what I've expected it to be, because of her.
