Chika x reader: Smile

Y/n L/n, boyfriend of Chika Takami, is waiting for Chika to exit Uranohoshi Girls' High School as they plan on hanging out today.

Y/n saw Chika, Yō, and Riko from the distance, he took out his camera and tried to take a picture of the three. Y/n, is somewhat of a photographer, learning it because of his dad's profession of being one.

The click of the camera was heard as Y/n took a look at the picture he had just taken.

"Oh, is someone stalking?" A voice suddenly said, making the boy jump slightly. Y/n turned around to look and saw Mari.

"O- Ohara-san?! You scared me for a second... No, I'm not stalking. Why am I gonna stalk my girlfriend? I just took a picture of the three. Look, it looks wonderful, right?" Y/n said as he showed Mari the picture.

"They look cute there! Y'know, Y/n, Chika actually complained to us a while ago. She said you don't smile that much, is that true?" Mari asked.

"Hmmm... Maybe she's right that I don't smile that much. But Chika and Yō are my childhood friends, they know that ever since I was a child, I really just don't smile that much." Y/n explained.

"I see... I'll be going now, Y/n. See you!" Mari said as she walked away to a distance, seeming to have caught up with Kanan and Dia.

"Y/n!!!" A voice said as Y/n felt a sudden push, with his right arm being trapped into something." Y/n turned his head and saw Chika, hugging his right arm.

"Chika, good afternoon. Let's go?" Y/n said to which Chika nodded in agreement.

As the two were walking to Y/n's home. Y/n had thought of what Mari said to him.

"Chika, I got to talk with Ohara-san a while ago." Y/n said.

"Hm? What did she tell you?" Chika asked.

"She said that you said to them I don't smile that much. While it is true, I was just surprised that you remarked it to them. What gives? Is there something wrong?" Y/n asked back.

"Well, you just look so serious all the time, y'know? I know you're sweet and all but some may get intimidated by you because you always have a serious demeanor when talking to people you aren't that close to." Chika explained, making Y/n smirk.

"They don't need to see my smile though. Also, I guess you're just too special for me that you're the only person I give my smile to." Y/n said, making Chika blush.

"Y- Y/n! Don't say stuff like that so suddenly." Chika said while being flustered,

"Oh, was it too much for you to handle? Chika, you should be selfish at times. You should be selfish and not let anyone see this smile of mine. Once they see this handsome smile of mine, they'll be chasing me in circles. You wouldn't want that now, do you?" Y/n said smugly.

"I hope you know that you're too difficult to understand at times." Chika said.

"Oh, I know that too well." Y/n said as the two continued on their way to Y/n's house, to which they spent their time together doing various things like helping each other on their respective homeworks.

~A week later~

"So why am I here again?" Y/n said as he sighed in defeat as Chika forced him to go to the Aquarium with her and the other members of Aqours.

"Because we will have some fun! Also, wouldn't you treat this as a date?" Chika said.

"I had some club activities to do though." Y/n countered.

"Please?" Chika said, with somehow having puppy-dog eyes appearing on her face, something Y/n can never resist.

"Fine, where are the others?" Y/n said, finally agreeing.

"They're all already inside. Let's go! I know you love the jellyfish here!" Chika said as she pulled Y/n to the Aquarium and started to walk around. The young couple circled around the aquarium seeing various aquatic animals and such. Albeit, this is not new to the two, Y/n always makes sure that he takes his time to see them every time he goes here, especially the jellyfish.

"Wonderful as always." Y/n said, making Chika sigh in defeat.

"So jellyfish can make you smile but I can't?" Chika said, surprising Y/n.

"Oh, is someone jealous? Besides, it's not the jellyfish that made me smile. It's the realization that I get to spend my time with you." Y/n said as he turned back to Chika, who was already blushing at what Y/n had said.

"I-" Chika said, being interrupted by Y/n who had suddenly kissed Chika. Chika, however, did not resist and just went with it. The kiss lasted for a few moments and ended. After that, the two turned to where the light was coming from as they saw Riko holding a camera.

"L/n-san, I hope you like the pictures you've asked me to take." Riko said as she gave back Y/n his camera.

"Thanks, Sakurauchi-san. I owe you one." Y/n said as he gladly accepted back his camera and looked at Chika who was confused.

"What's going on?" Chika asked, making Y/n chuckle.

"Oh, I might've overheard you the other day talking to some members of Aqours of you guys planning to go here. So when I had the chance, I had Sakurauchi-san take my camera and ask her if she could take pictures of us together. Look, here we are at the fishes a while back. Ooh, here's the one where we kissed." Y/n explained as he let Chika see the pictures, ending it with the picture they had in front of the jellyfish where the two kissed.

"I'll be leaving you two now." Riko said as she left, waving goodbye to the two, with the two waving back.

"We look so good together here." Chika said, still amazed at how Riko took the pictures.

"We always did look good together. I'd trade everything just to get these kinds of moments with you, Chika." Y/n said.

"I love you, Y/n!" Chika said as she hugged Y/n. Y/n, closed his eyes, smiled, and the rest is history.
