"You know for a Commander, you sure are dumb at times." I held Erwins right hand in my lap as I addressed his bleeding knuckles.
"I'm not the Commander." Erwin corrected, looking down at his bigger hand in my smaller ones.
"Right, sorry, not that time yet." I mumbled, letting out a huff as I dipped the cotton ball in peroxide, before proceeding to dab it on his knuckles.
His hand clenched onto mine, his jaw tightening from the medicine.
Erwin was too stubborn to go to a doctor to address his wounds, so, I'm stuck in his room doing it for him.
My mask was off and thrown to the side, my boots lying on the ground as I crossed my legs on the couch.
"Sorry," Erwin mumbled, relaxing his hand again as I continued to clean it.
"It's fine." My face was pink, and I knew it. So, I honestly avoided looking up at the man.
I then let go of his hand, allowing him to rest it on my leg as I reached for some gauze.
We both sat in silence as I wrapped his right hand up, and once I was done, the man had brought his hand to him and observed my work.
"It'd be better if you went to the infirmary, but," I shrugged, standing and throwing out the bloody cotton ball.
"It's good, thank you. You didn't have to do this." He said, standing up and walking over to his desk that has a new stack of papers on it.
"Just like how you didn't have to beat the living daylights out of those men. What did they even say?" I walked over in front of Erwin's desk, plopping down into one of the uncomfortable wooden chairs that sat infront of it.
"Something that if you understood, you would've done worse." Erwin left it at that, and I all but shrugged.
I turned sideways in the chair, my legs dangling over the arm rest as my arms stayed folded in front of me on my stomach.
Erwin rolled his eyes, grabbing his ink and quill, before he grabbed ahold of a sheet of paper.
"You know," I yawned, rubbing my eyes and throwing my head back. "I never understood why you got so much paperwork." I said, and the man didn't look up.
"Most of it is just storage, upkeep, the sleeping arrangements of recruits," he flipped a paper, and my head fell down. "Expedition plans for the future, and now with these new thugs, I'm stuck with the paperwork as I brought them in-" Erwin looked up, his eyes widening slightly.
He let out a huff of air, before scootching his chair back and standing.
He walked around the desk, before bending down and hooking an arm underneath my legs, the other around my back.
"What the heck," I complained, my eyes cracking open as I kept my arms on my stomach.
"You can sleep in my bed, I'll be up, anyways," Erwin said, and I just let out a huff, leaning my head against his chest.
"Thank you." I heard the door to Erwins room open, and I felt my back hit the comfortable mattress. I let out a hum, felling the blanket drape over me.
"Sleep well." Erwin almost whispered, and I just let out a light hum, my eyes closed as I fell asleep. Ugh, and to fall asleep around the smell of him, it felt like Heaven. Especially since I haven't even been on a mattress for a week straight.

"Why do I have to be here?" I asked, annoyance evident on my facial features and I stood with my arms crossed.I wore the normal uniform for a Scout, minus the jacket and cape because the jacket is too restricting for me and Erwin got tired of me complaining.
