I laid down on my back, a book resting on my stomach as I read. The Japanese text was easy to go along with for me, but God was it so BORING.
I hate non fiction, and this was just that. Books like this don't do it for me. I closed the book, throwing it to the side and huffing.
I looked over at the empty bunk, and the suns light coming through the window lit the room.
Andrew was out training with Levi's squad, until I'm healed up enough to start training with Erwin's squad. He was at least physically strong enough now, though he wasn't exactly weak before.
We had moved to a new HQ a few weeks ago, and the experiments on Eren had started. And Erwin and Pixis managed to keep my existence a secret, everyone knowing of me keeping their lips closed.
While I am happy to not be training from dusk till dawn, I am fucking bored.
I accompanied Hanji on a few of her visits to her Titans that she had captured. But the woman was mentally exhausting to be around so I didn't do it often.
Erwin was usually doing paperwork, in meetings, or helping with training. So I never saw him, and the same goes with Levi.
I stood from my bed, not feeling a sharp pain anymore in my ribs. Over a month passed since I was nearly crushed to death by a Titan, my wounds healed. My arm had a bright red mark on it from the debris, a scar forming.
I went to the window and looked out it, seeing it be about mid day. Today the new recruits are supposed to be arriving.
I huffed, lifting a hand and ruffling my hair. I saw Andrew whenever it was time to eat, and at the end of the night. I've been helping him with Japanese when he couldn't comprehend what Erwin was teaching him, and I'd listen when he'd tell me about his day.
I chuckled softly, thinking about how he was telling me the past couple nights how he thinks Eld likes him. I can't stand him. He thinks anything that breathes in his direction likes him.
I rolled my eyes thinking about it, turning around and letting out a small yelp when I saw a certain raven haired man staring back at me.
"Levi, you gave me a heart attack," I huffed, shaking my head. He rolled his eyes, pushing himself off the closed door and keeping his arms crossed.
"You shouldn't space out so much, brat," he stopped a few feet away from me, looking up slightly.
"I was only thinking," I told him. "What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be training your squad?" I asked, and he nodded.
"Yes, which is why I'm here, get ready brat," he said, and my eyes lit up,
"I'm cleared?" I asked, excited as I already headed to my bunk to grab my white skinny jeans.
"Sort of, you'll be fine with what you're wearing, just throw on your shoes," I rose a brow, but didn't complain. I'm finally able to do something that isn't reading a boring ass book and look out the window.
But usually training didn't consist of the clothes I'm in. I'm in a pair of grey sweatpants, the bottom of them closing around my ankles, and a white t-shirt on. I only remember wearing something like this a couple time when-
"Levi," I whined, exiting the room once putting on my shoes. "Don't tell me we're going to do hand to hand combat, you'll just break another rib on me," please don't let my thoughts be true.
"We aren't doing hand to hand combat, brat," he rolled his eyes, leading us down a flight of stairs so we were on the main floor.
"Then what are we doing?" I asked, and he turned a corner, before opening a door. I took a peak inside, my brows raising.
