Low rumbles erupted from the sky sending shivers down my spine. The unknown chunk of mass was plummeting to earth at a fast rate. More and more people started to crowd around the fence in attempt to get a better view of the roaring beast. Lee rushed to Marcus and I after signing Regan to find her mother. He grabbed our arms, pulling us behind him in a protective way.

"We should leave, get to the car."

Without hesitation, Marcus grabbed my wrist and guided me to the car as Lee followed close behind. There were people everywhere, running to find their vehicles. Humans are scared of what they don't know. My eyes widened and I abruptly stopped in my place, almost making Lee bump into me.

"What about Emmett? Will he be okay?" I Asked Lee, my words almost catching in my throat.

"He will be fine, but we have to leave." He responded. Lee was clearly worried about this situation. I have to admit, I'm curious about the object in the sky but I wasn't about to stick around and wait for what comes next. When we got to the car, Regan signed that she was going with Lee. I decided I should too since there wasn't enough room in the car for me.

"I will go with Regan and Lee." I stated

Evelyn nodded as she placed Beau in his car seat. I was about to walk off with them when I felt a strong tug at my arm. Swinging around from the force, I locked eyes with Marcus. His grip was tight and his eyes were glossy. He looked as if he was about to cry. Who am I kidding, I would too.

"Please be safe [y/n]." His voice broke between his sentence but I still understood what he said. I pulled him into a quick hug before leaving to catch up with Regan and Lee.

Here we are, back on 'Main St', only this time it was more hectic. Cars were speeding all over the place and people were running through the roads. In a matter of minutes, I was standing Infront of Lee's truck. Regan had already sat herself in the middle of the seat, I was about to hop in when Lee walked off to talk to an officer. I was patiently waiting, talking to Regan since she seemed to not know what was going on completely. Suddenly Lee dove back into the truck, slamming his door and turning the key with extra force.

"What's wrong Dad?" Regan signed

"What happened out there?" I asked in a panic.

All Lee did was try to start the engine, not once answering our questions. He gave us a fright when he slammed his hands on the wheel from frustration.

"We have to go, get out of the truck and stay close by my side." He said while signing at the same time.

Regan and I were confused but still chose it would be best to stay close. We were walking down the street again when I heard a strange sound from behind us. It sounded like clicking, but not a computer mouse kinda click. It was more like a click you hear on horror movies when there is a monster around. Wait-

I spun around, but to my surprise I saw nothing but car wrecks and crazy people. I went to ask Lee if he heard that sound too but when I looked back Infront of me, I saw the most horrific looking thing ever. Out of instinct, I opened my mouth to scream when Lee covered it with his hand. I looked up at him, fear drowned his eyes as he held a finger to his lips. His hands shaking from fright. A car crashed into a poll a few stores up, sending the creature hurdling towards the noise. Lee immediately started running, holding both Regan and my hands. We followed a bunch of people into a small store, dropping to the ground. Everything was silent other than a stupid man that started mumbling to himself. Lee instantly put his hand to the man's mouth as the same clicking sound made by a horrifying shadow crept slowly past the shop. Everything would have been fine if that girls phone hadn't of rung. The creature came smashing through the glass, attacking anything in its path. The three of us booked it through the back and down a side street, the monster following close behind. My heart almost broke when I remembered my mother was at work, what if she was dead. I would never see her again. My eyes started to water and my lip began to quiver. A wave of relief washed over me as I saw Marcus's head peep over the top of a flipped police car. Lee, Regan and I quickly moved out of the way as a man with a shotgun started shooting at the monster. We hid behind the flipped car. Lee pulled Regan and Evelyn into a secure hug as the car started rocking furiously. I tumbled to Marcus's side as he wrapped his arms tightly around me for dear life. We figured out that if we stayed silent, the creature would leave.

So that's exactly what we did.
