warnings: swearing, mentions of drugs and a lot of drama.

"[y/n]"

Lee shook my shoulders lightly.

"[y/n] wake up, breakfast is ready."

I groaned, shoving Lee away and turning so my back was facing him. I yawned, the morning air filling my lungs. I felt a heavy weight around my waist, only to realise it was Marcus's arm. His warm breath passed by my neck, sending shivers throughout my body. The sun peered through the factory and the soft chirps of birds could be heard from outside. It was peaceful for a few bliss seconds untill I heard a small click, followed by a faint sound of something being printed. Out of curiosity, I turned back around to face Lee and let me just say, bad decision. He was holding one of those disposable cameras in one hand and a small polaroid in the other, all while having the biggest smug smirk ever plastered across his face. WHERE DOES HE EVEN GET A WORKING CAMERA NOW DAYS??

"I guess I will just have to show everyone this adorable photo of you and Marcus then." He hummed, clearly the only one amused right now.

Marcus shot up from his sleeping position and looked at his father with wide eyes.

"You wouldn't dare to dad." Marcus said, panic in his face.

"But I would." Lee replied, wriggling his eyebrows to taunt his son.

I just sighed and dangled my feet over the edge of the bed. The concrete floor was rather cold but nothing I wasn't used to. I looked at Lee, before yawning.

"Go ahead, I guess I'll just have to show everyone that photo I have of you stuck in a kids push car. I don't suppose you remember that.. do you?" My yawn quickly turned into a grin as I stood from the bed, walking away from the two.

Lee stood silent for a few seconds, looking at his son in disbelief.

"You.. you don't think she actually has a photo of that.. do you Marcus?" Lee asked, his face flushed with embarrassment.

"She got you good dad.. she got you good." Said Marcus as he followed me up the ladder.

Today was pretty boring if I'm being completely honest. The only good thing that happened was that Evelyn asked me to help name Baby Abbott. I suggested that we name him George, but she and Lee settled on 'Clay'.

Yep, you heard me properly... CLAY.

If I'm being honest though, it was kinda cool because it reminded me of a streamer I used to watch back before all this shit started.

I felt a light tap on my shoulder, only to see it was Regan. She sat down beside me, preparing what she wanted to say. As she gathered her words, the tall oak tree that had grown through the factory creaked with the slight breeze that flowed through the building. It was a wonder, considering there was absolutely no soil within the cracks of the concrete. But none the less, it was such a beautiful tree. I turned my attention back to Regan as she began to sign to me.

"I heard a song on the radio." She started.

"If it's that ocean song then it's nothing knew." I signed.

"I don't think it's just a song."

"Why do you say that?"

"Look at this." She signed before pulling papers from within her pocket and laying them out on the pavement.
