"...Jungkook" you whispered before looking up at everyone to confirm your decision, "it's Jungkook".
Jin was the first to react as he laughed sarcastically at your judgement.
"That Rick Grimes wannabe? Suuuuure, he's definitely the cure" you sent a glare his way, wanting him to shut up and for once trust your choice.
Hoseok stepped forward to speak out his opinion.
"It kind of makes sense. He's been alive all this time and he's been travelling on his own? Isn't that already weird?" Lunatic's word made sense strangely as you sent a smile his way to thank him for siding with you.
"There's just no way" the scientist interjected before continuing on, "my nephew isn't the type of person to help anyone, nevermind saving the world" he finished.
Unfortunately, that also made sense, Jungkook would never just volunteeringly give himself up to be the cure. Quite the opposite actually.
"...I have a good feeling it's Jungkook...actually more than just a good feeling" everyone turned to look at the doctor who caught everyone's attention with how confident he was in his words.
"What do you mean? Do you know something that we don't?" You urged for him to explain, hoping that there was something else that could help with your case. Namjoon looked hesitant at first, unsure if he should say it or not but decided to since he wanted to save the world now that his sister was safe with him.
"...I've met Jungkook before the world changed but I'm sure he won't remember me- actually, he didn't even recognise me when we left Hannam together. A scientist visited me at my hospital and requested to talk to me about an offer. He offered to invest in to the hospital with a lot of money if I were to hand him a few deceased John and Jane Does. Since no one would know these patients, they wouldn't be wondering where they went so I agreed. After the scientist left, this college kid visited me and passed me a note. I remember him well and it's definitely Jungkook. The note said for me not help the scientist or else I would have been exposed to law enforcements" he finished his story and it wasn't long until Jin counter acted his words.
"Yeah, we know he's related to Mr. Kim here and we know he's against there being a cure. This isn't anything new-"
"I think he became the cure so that he could keep it away from everyone else" Silence filled the lab as everyone tried to process his theory. It definitely made sense.
"...let's go get Jungkook-"
"I'm already here" a familiar voice spoke up behind you, making you and the others swivel to look at the biker that everyone knew now as Jungkook and possibly the cure.
