"...I-I can't-... that's just reckless and at least we know for sure that the cure can help you" you assured the male who in return scanned your expression.
You could tell he was thinking hard about this as he sighed before standing to his feet.
"Let's hurry back" you nodded with determination as you were about to head back to gather the bags until Yoongi stopped you.
Turning to look at his already sweaty face, he looked in to your eyes before verbalising the next words.
"If I become... one of them, promise me you will get as far away as you can" you shook your head in disbelief.
"We will save you-"
"Promise me!" He demanded, fear stricken on his face as clear as day.
Not wanting to accept the idea of him dying, you simply nodded to calm his nerves.
"...good...then let's go" he grabbed his sword from you and proceeded to go get his bag.
You looked back at the way you came from and you internally sighed at the distance from here to the bunker.
It took you almost three hours to get here but if you picked up the pace, perhaps you'll get back in time.
You didn't know how the virus worked so you were truly against time and the unknown.
It wasn't long until you two began your journey back and you couldn't help but keep your eyes on the infected male.

"...what was your life before the apocalypse?" Taken aback at his unexpected question, you thought that he must be trying to distract himself from the problem.
"...I was a business student... nothing too amazing unlike you" you gestured to the sword in his hand and he let out a little chuckle.
"You're a student... you're so young" you raised a brow at this.
"How old are you?" Yoongi looked at you momentarily before ducking his head beneathe a low hanging branch.
"I'm twenty five"
"That's still pretty young"
"Not when you already gave a child to look after" you looked down at Yuri in your arms who had calmed down and was trying to sleep.
"...I can't wait to see how she'll grow up" even though this might not be the norm for you, this world will be the norm for her. Which in reality was sad to think.
