FINN'S POV
"I'm so tired," Drake yawned, tilting his head back. We spent the past three hours being lazy: watching Criminal Minds, bringing blankets and pillows, eating junk food, and ordering pizza. My hand somehow found its way to Drake's hair and I was just playing with it gently. Thankfully, Drake didn't seem to mind.
I was drowning in two blankets and I had popcorn littered all over me. As for Nathan, well, he was closer to me than when we first started watching the show, but tired me didn't mind. All I wanted to do was fall asleep while playing with Drake's hair because god, it was so soft and fluffy.
I was so tired I could barely keep my eyes open, and to be quite frank, I didn't want to leave them open anymore. I wanted to sleep.
Drake then moved, much to my disappointment. I brought my hand back towards me with a pout. Why did he have to move?
I began moving so I could lay down using the sofa's arm as a pillow. Surprisingly it wasn't that uncomfortable, but I ended up stuffing a pillow there just because my neck hurt.
At this point, I didn't even know what was happening because I shut out all the noise and my eyes were closed. So when someone plopped themselves right on top of me and moved so their face was basically in my chest, I didn't question anything. When that same person moved my hand so it was touching their hair—and playing with it—I didn't question anything. And when a blanket was dropped on top of both me and that person I was cuddling with, I didn't question anything.
All that mattered was that I was warm and comfortable; and I was those two things. Because of that, nothing else mattered. Not at that moment, at least.
The next morning, I woke up to someone shaking my shoulder and calling my name. At first I tried ignoring them but then they just began saying my name louder and louder and louder.
"We just met," I groaned out, "so why are you screaming my name already?"
That person—I think it was Drake—stopped talking and I thought he finally left but then my blankets were taken away and I was pushed off of the couch. To say I was shocked would be an understatement however all I cared about was my blankets. I quickly grabbed them and wrapped them around me before apologizing profusely to them.
I think someone drugged my popcorn or something last night.
"Breakfast is ready, idiot," Drake said before walking away and to the kitchen. I yawned and made my way towards my (yes: my) stool, failing to realize the presence of two other individuals: Adam and Nathan. So when I turned to yawn and saw them both staring at me, I screamed.
No, not screamed. Squealed. The two are very different things.
Adam gave me a blank yet somehow judgemental look while Nathan looked straight up amused, although it looked like he was trying to hide it. Needless to say, he did a horrible job.
"Nice hair," Nathan said as he ate his food—which just so happened to be oatmeal (hopefully not the plain kind) and a cup of coffee (that was black). Feeling self-conscious, I ran my hand through my hair and tried to somewhat style it while I attempted to hide from the two.
It was crazy how self-conscious they made me feel just by being there.
Thankfully though, Drake stuck up for me. "Oh, shut it. His hair looks fine. Just makes him look cuter," Drake defended, rolling his eyes. He sat down in front of me and began eating his own food after giving me my bowl of food.
Nathan didn't reply so the four of us just ate in silence until Adam spoke up.
"When are you gonna get a job?" he asked, without a care in the world about how I would feel. "It's annoying having you live here for free. The least you could do is pay whatever you can and not bother us at all."
