FINN'S POV

"What even is this shit?" I snapped, so very confused. At the last store, I was able to tell what some of the things were; but this store? Everything looked so weird and not normal! The store was called BD-heaven-SM, and it was much larger than the other store, meaning more people were here.

I wouldn't care that much but I walked into an aisle where a girl was teasing another girl and my eyes did not need to see that. Nope. No way. No, thank you. How do guys even get off on that? I guess it's the same as how girls get off on yaoi, or whatever it's called, though. Jesus, people need to stop fetishizing other people's sex life.

"Everything here is different, so I'm not sure what you're talking about. Have you never been to a store like this before?" the worker, a light-skinned female with half black and half red hair, asked. She was, thankfully, not up to recent beauty standards regarding body shape as she had a bit of fat on her and little to no chest. It suited her though, a lot. And it didn't stop guys from gawking at her.

"No? I didn't even know places like these existed!" I exclaimed, turning to her. She giggled before getting her attention taken away to another guy who was staring at her.

"Ayo, baby girl! What that mouth do?"

She grinned before laughing. "Suck pussy, what about yours?"

His eyes widened. "For real? Dang, man. You alright with adding a man in?"

She shook her head. "No, thanks. But thanks for helping my ego!" She laughed again.

The guy grinned and winked. "No problemo. Have fun with whatever girl you got!" he shouted back before walking away.

She began walking ahead of me, leading me to wherever she was going, while I just stood there, gawking at the interaction the two had. Was that even normal? Was she not uncomfortable? What the heck!

She paused when she noticed I wasn't following her. "Something the matter?" she asked, tilting her head to the side.

I mouthed my mouth then closed it like a fish. "I—that—what—he—you—eh?"

She giggled once again. "These types of interactions are normal around here. And honestly? I prefer them rather than having that one homophobic guy come in then get mad. It's so annoying having to hear them rant about appreciating God and returning to my non-exist love for men or whatever."

"Ew," I commented.

She laughed, nodding her head. "Right? It's worse because some people know I'm Muslim and then they end up going like 'Oh, well, she's a terrorist! No wonder she's gay!' when that's not the case at all since one, I'm not a terrorist, and two, I'm gay because women, obviously."

"Oh, damn. Is your family one of those people?" I asked before I could think. "Shit, that's none of my business! I'm sorry. You don't have to answer that."

"Oh, no, it's alright," she replied. "My family was actually pretty supportive if we don't include my relatives such as cousins and uncles and aunts. It took my mom a while to get used to it but she eventually did. It tooks years, though. How about you, if I may ask?"

Shrugging, I replied, "I'm actually not so sure. I don't think they took it well. I don't keep in contact with either of my parents anymore, though, and I don't have any siblings."

"Ah. Sorry for asking and bringing up those memories."

"It's okay."

She showed me around a bit more and recommended some things for me to use. I didn't buy any of them, obviously, but I did sneakily take a picture of the ones that looked interesting. If I didn't know any better, I'd say that she didn't notice, but she did. She didn't comment on it.
