"Who...are...you...? ANSWER ME DAMMIT!"
His hoarse voice rang out and echoed off the bare walls and surfaces of the empty room clothed in dim lights.
You flinched terribly. Your eyes widened and grew more opalescent, your body began to tremble in his hold. He could feel your shoulders shake; she has such fragile, small bones, his thought taken aback. And what was that pounding he could hear? it was getting louder, almost deafening. He felt his mouth go slightly dry...what was he sensing? danger?
He saw you opening your lips. why were they shimmering? You took a slow breath, tilting your head up till it went back, till he could see the arch of your brown eyebrows in the moonlight, the bridge of your sharp nose, the curve of your upper lip, your quivering chin, the long column of your neck.
He waited....the pounding was louder now. What was it?
Suddenly he knew what it was... his eyes were wary as he looked down. He saw their bodies touching, almost fused near the chest; the pounding was coming from there. It was heartbeats.
How could heartbeats be so loud?
He could feel them racing against his sternum, striking the inner walls of his chest cavity, riding up his throat. Whose heartbeats were these? his? or were they hers?
You were pushing him back with all your might as the force with which you resisted scaled and overcame his hold, you lost balance and surged toward him, your face coming up close to him, your breath on his neck and throat.
"Please, leave m-me, let me go trust me I didn't do anything. I'm not a thief."
You begged him and let your tears fall on your cheeks, you didn't even once look at him. He just darkly chuckled at your response and spoke near your ear in his intimidating voice.
"Why should I trust you? Hmm.."
"Please, leave me I've to go to the hospital, my papa is injured please I beg you let me go.."
You sobbed badly against him and he just stared at you with no emotion in his eyes.
"Tsk..let you go after interfering in my business..hmm? If you were a boy I would have beaten you up to your death but to your luck, you are a girl and I can't beat you because I have a sister....but Ican make your life miserable...What do you think about it..!?"
