"You know very well what I can do."
He huskily whispered against your ear, tightening his grip on your waist making you hiss.
"You are misbehaving with me, Mr Kim."
You gritted your teeth when you found him opening the strap of your dress from your...
"MAY BE I SHOULD START TAKING MY MEALS IN MY ROOM NOW. IF STAYING AWAY MEANS SHE'LL HAVE HER MEALS PROPERLY, THEN SO BE IT..."

Kim's Mansion,
At 7 a.m.
You had woken up much earlier than your normal routine, not because you wanted to, but because you had to. Naah you weren't running away, because even if you tried, where would you go? He would find you. He always would. Instead, you were simply heading to your college and that too a little early than your usual timing because if you left on time, there was a high chance of running into Taehyung, and the thought alone made your stomach twist.
Facing him this early in the morning in the dining room would only make your heart go restless, and you weren't ready for that so avoiding him was the only way to keep your sanity.
You got ready fastly, tied your hair loosely, and then grabbed your shoulder bag. With a deep breath, you opened your bedroom door and stepped into the long corridor of the mansion.
The place was quiet, except for the soft movements of four maids in the hall below as they were dusting vases and arranging fresh flowers. Their heads were lowered, busy in work, and neither of them paid you any attention. That was good as you wanted to slip out quietly without being noticed.
Your footsteps were soft as you descended the first staircase, moving from the upper floor down into the main hall. The chandeliers still glowed faintly, their shine reflecting off the marble floor. You hugged the strap of your bag tighter to your shoulder, lowering your eyes as if hiding from shadows.
The large wooden doors of the mansion stood at the other end of the hall, which was half open, letting in the pale morning light. A small smile tried to creep onto your lips, but you quickly swallowed it back. Freedom wasn't yours..not really. But just for a second, that little opening in the door felt like hope to you.
You walked past the maids, who barely noticed you, and reached outside the wooden doors and you found the second set of stairs and these were wider and grander. You adjusted your bag again and began to descend, your heart beating faster with each step closer to the exit.
But as you took your first step down, the smooth marble betrayed you. Your foot slipped making the world spun for a second, your bag slided off your shoulder and a loud gasp escaped your lips as you lost balance. Your eyes squeezed tight as you braced yourself for the painful fall.....
But you didn't fall instead you stumbled right into a solid, broad chest making your breath stop for a second and you could also feel their hand on your waist.
