CHAPTER 14

'WITH THEM'

ALTHYS TREÑAS

I KEPT trying to ignore what happened yesterday but I realized that if I didn't do something distracting I won't be able to forget that.

"Master?Uy si Master oh!" sigaw ng isang lalaki sa isang maliit na silong kaya ngumiti ako at kumaway

Isang taon lang ang tanda ko sakanila, sila 'yung mga tini-train ko noon at 'yung kumaway saakin bago ako pumasok sa Altadeo.I remember them after waking up in house 13, malay ko ba kung nasaan si Xiera at Artherios.

"Sabi nang tigilan na kakatawag saakin ng master, tara meryenda muna kayo tapos training tayo sa arnis" binigyan ko sila ng tig iisang box na binili ko sa mini mart kanina sa school

I missed being away from that hell, that school is suffocating me and it feels like i'm in the middle of a dark ocean not knowing what's gonna happen to me or what kind of creature is gonna attack me.

"Kamusta doon sa bago mong school, Althys?" tanong ni Daisy habang kumakain sila

"Ayos naman, syempre mahirap at delikado but it's fine there's nothing to worry about" I smiled at them to assure them so they smiled at me too

Mabilis naman nilang naubos ang pagkain nila at nag-pair silang walo para makapag training ng maayos, aside from teaching them how to use that I also teach them where to hit the opponent and how to avoid each other if they're all going to attack at the same time.

It's easy to teach them the basic tactica and strategy to make things easier yet safer when it comes to battlefield, I also taught them how to hold and when to stop attacking the other party.

"Feels like we're going to enter world war three" hingal na saad ni Lily kaya natawa kami

"Para din naman saatin 'to pangit!Hindi naman palaging nand'yan si Althys" napatango tango sila sa imik ni Leo

"But as long as i'm here, y'all are safe" I assure them once again

You don't always live in the dark just because someone put you there, these kids also suffer from depression and anxiety that held them in the dark for so long but I didn't gave up on them.

Sometimes all we need is a hand to grab ours, we can be tough but not all the time.We just need someone to help us out without us asking for it.

"Mawawala ka ba Althys?Saan ka ba pupunta at maiiwan mo kami?" sabat ng tahimik na si George

"We'll never know George," I pat his head "All the people will leave you, the only thing you can do is look for those people who's worth crying for"

"Why you didn't cry when kuya Alcyone died?Didn't he left you behind too?" tanong ni Daisy na nakapag patahimik saakin

Bakit nga ba?

"I don't know either Daisy, maybe some parts of me were still hoping that he's alive.I didn't saw his dead body so maybe that'll answer your question" nagkibit-balikat lang ako

"You know what Althys?We believe in you, that everything is an accident" biglang saad ni Leo so I smiled

"Thank you for that"
