Niall's POV:

"Hey Ni" Maya says as she makes her way over to where I'm standing in front of my car. I drove us both to school today, I was just waiting for her to finish one of her classes. She has her backpack slung over only one of her shoulders, the bag not being too heavy yet since it's only the start of the school year. Her blonde hair is in effortless waves and she wears a simple pink sundress that brightens the blue of her eyes.

"Hey buttercup" I say with a soft smile, grabbing her arm once she's close enough so I can pull her towards me. I plant a soft kiss to her lips, both of us not being to hold back our smiles.

"Buttercup. Is my name for today?" She asks, smiling up at me.

I just hum in confirmation, my hands still holding on to her hips, "I gotta test them all out until I find the one I like the best" I add on with a shrug.

"I don't even know how you think of so many in the first place" Maya responds with a amused chuckle. Even her laugh is adorable, everything about this girl is a dream.

"It's one of my many talents" I state, staring down at the bright eyed girl before me.

"Which one do you like best so far?" She asks curiously, reaching up straighten out my baseball cap.

"I can't tell you yet, it's gotta be a big reveal" I state wiggling my eyebrows at her, earning a playful eye roll. I know keeping it from her will be torture but how can I pick a favorite if I haven't tested them all yet?

I always call her sunshine regardless. But I've been testing out other names too, I want another one that fits her just as good. I seem to be keeping a recent theme of food. Buttercup, cupcake, munchkin, peanut, dumpling, tater-tot, pumpkin, just to name a few.

"Alright let's get you home" I say pushing myself off my car behind me. She nods her head with a sigh of relief, clearly it's been a long day for both of us.

She tosses her backpack in the back next to mine before plopping herself in the passenger seat. I unlock my phone and hand it to her so she can pick the music for our drive back to hers.

Both of us go to Pennsylvania Highlands Community College, which is a little less than thirty minute away from our apartments. The drive isn't too bad, my drive from my house to my high school was only a bit shorter than this so I don't mind.

We're driving for a bit before I hear Maya speak over the music, "That bitch!" she says with her jaw dropped as she stares down at her phone.

Once she feels my eyes on her she turns her attention to me, the surprised expression still present on her face.

"Darlene is watching Titanic with Harry again but her and I were suppose to watch it this weekend" She huffs, clicking her phone off and dropping it down in her lap.

I mull over her words in my head for a second formulating my thoughts,

"He's watching it with her again. On a school night. What do you think he did?" I say in a knowing tone, briefly glancing from the road at Maya.

Harry likes the movies too, no matter how much he tried to mask his excitement when we were at the exhibit, it's clear he enjoys it just as much as Darlene.
