Song For This Chapter:

Biggest Fan- Jonas Brothers

"Every time you smile for me
Takes me a while to bring myself back
'Cause you're all that
And I just had to let you know"

Darlene's POV:

"Can I just sit next to you so I cheat off you?" I say groaning and throwing my head down into my textbook. I don't even worry about staying quiet, the library is already filled with chatter.

"You know this stuff D" Louis says laughing at my antics.

"I just really don't feel like brushing up on it, why are they even testing us on the basics? This isn't an entry film class" I comment, sighing in annoyance.

"Exactly, it's the basics. You probably don't even need to brush up on it. You'll be fine"

"Good because I think I'm just going to wing it" I declare, lifting my head up from my textbook before flipping it closed. I rip out the page from my notebook that only had two bullet points and crumble it up into a ball, already feeling a bit of stress lift off my shoulders.

He just shakes his head in amusement, "I'm kind of excited for the screening tomorrow, I haven't watched a movie in over a month"

"I'm kind of excited too but I watched a movie earlier this week" I comment, my mood already improving from my mental decision to not try and torture my brain by reading my textbook.

"Titanic doesn't count" Louis adds raising a knowing eyebrow at me. I just dramatically drop my jaw in offense,

"Yes it does, that movie is so well directed. The cinematography-"

"Not this again" he interrupts in amusement.

Alright I love him but I can't help thinking about how Harry wouldn't have cut me off if I began gushing about this.

"When did you watch it?" he questions, still holding humor in his voice. Well at least he's semi interested in this conversation.

"Monday" I state simply, my fingers beginning to absentmindedly trace the edges of my textbook.

Well I kind of watched it, Harry and I missed a good forty five minutes of the movie but we eventually turned our attention back to my TV screen.

"After your first day of classes you went home and watched Titanic by yourself?" Louis says giggling at the thought, his eyes not leaving me.

"No" I begin defensively, "I didn't watch it by myself, thank you very much" now a bit of sarcastic sass present in my voice.

"My bad" Louis says holding his hands up in defense, "Did you watch it with your friend Maya from work? Her name is Maya right?"

"Yeah it's Maya but no, I watched it with Harry" I state simply, enjoying the current distraction from the impending stress of school work.

"Harry?" Louis questions, his eyes widening. "So you watch Titanic then..."

"No" I state letting out a few soft laughs, "He just came over to hang out" I shrug my shoulders casually, but the shock still doesn't leave his face.

"You just 'hung out' with him? He didn't try anything?" He rambles out, seeming like his brain can't seem to process the information I've just told him.

"Yes Louis" I say, humorlessly shaking my head.

He just slowly nods his head, the words I've told him seeming to sink in really slowly. I still feel weird when people assume stuff about Harry and I. I don't like how his reputation automatically make people think I'm some girl just desperate for his attention, following him around like a lost puppy.
