Darlene's POV:

Somehow Harry convinced me to skip a whole day of classes to go on this date with him. But to be fair he's missing his own as well and as much as he hates to admit it he takes school very seriously.

When he said that is was going to be an all day event he really wasn't kidding. But half of it has been spent in the car driving there. Which I'll be honest, was actually fun. We went back and forth showing each other songs that we liked. Now I have a bunch of new ones to add into my playlists.

I was pleasantly surprised when Harry knew 'Be My Baby' by the Ronettes, classic song. He knew all the words and everything. I won't lie and say we didn't play the song a unhealthy amount of times after that. We had a lot of time to kill, it was a 6 hour drive.

I would consider this to be one of my favorite songs, definetly up there in the mental list I have. So I'll go ahead and give him a brownie point for that.

Harry didn't tell me where we were going but the GPS on his phone kinda gave it away within the first five minutes of being in the car. He insisted on driving us all the way to Virginia Beach.

I've been there once before with my family and our family friends, but I haven't been back in years. All I remember is that it was really pretty, I took so many polaroid pictures there that are still scattered throughout my childhood bedroom.

Because Harry refused to tell me where he was taking me until we were on our way I had to improvise with my outfit, but thankfully I think it works for the occasion.

The second I saw what he was wearing when he picked me up I already felt a lot better. He looks really cute, I can't lie. I swear if you searched 'cute boys with fall aesthetic' he would pop up.
