The Prince Theodore was as handsome as they say. His soft blue eyes stared into mine scared, wondering, and nervous about what I would say next. His dark brown hair sat on the top of his head in curls. Goddess, did I want this male, but not the family he is tied to. It made me sick that I was paired to the son of a murder. Tied to the royal family.

When I uttered those words rejecting him I instantly regretted it. My wolf felt as if she was being ripped in half and on fire at the same time. My body burned and my heart pounded in my chest as it hurt to breath. My body too felt the same as my wolf's did. I drop to my knees trying to regain my bearings, but it just kept coming in waves stronger than the one before.

My eyes find Theo who is also on the ground in pain, but seeming to handle it better than I. I mean of course he is, he is powerful and strong for his age. Both of our eyes catch the King and Queen entering the camp. The Queen quickly comforting her son while the King looked around, anger burning in his eyes.

"Natalie, help him up and get him back to the palace to be treated," the King tells.

"What about the rogues, Max," the Queen asks.

"I'll deal with them. They know they are too close to a packs boarder, therefore they are seen as a threat by the law set," he tells in a stern tone.

"No," Theo bark. "The one female is my mate."

Mate, it hurt. It hurt so much. I rejected him just to get some attention and praise from my father. Just the littlest bit of attention from him, just him noticing me, but was it worth it? Ever since I was little we've lived like this and I have dreamed of a stable home. Not a tent. I knew my mate would take me away from this lifestyle, but I screwed it up all because I wanted my father's attention.

The King looks at his son with a sharp gaze. "Did she not just reject you?"

"Well- yes, but-"

"No, she rejected you therefore she will still be seen as a threat and not a future member of the royal family."

"Please, do not punish them, just lock them up," Theo pleads with his father as the Queen helps him up.

She looks over her shoulder and shots me a gaze that wasn't too thrilled nor happy with my actions. She turns her head around disgusted and walks away with her son.

I start to lose sight of the Prince and the Queen as the guards surround us and start to silver collars on us and make us walk onto the Royal Crested territory.

"You can't do this," a man yells from deep in the crowd.

The King whips around, his eyes as dark as onyx. "The hell I can. I am the Alpha King and you broke the law," he states.

"Oh yeah, which one?"

The King smirks. "Section two paragraph two, it states you are allowed to be rogues but you can't be so many miles within a pack's territory. As you were a mile within my pack boarders you violated the terms of agreement."

The man mumbles something under his breath which is incoherent to any of us. The King just rolls his eyes and motions forward. A mile walk to the palace was what'd you think it'd be. No, it wasn't as painful as it sounds, but it was annoying with the palace guard breathing down your neck.

Once we got to the bridge we had to walk in two lines as the bridge was narrow. The palace was on the other side of the ravine. The palace sat atop the mountain. It was grand and looked old, but still had its elegant charm. I see why the King fled to here, it's gorgeous. I mean if you are going to hide out and keep your family safe why not do it in an elegant palace hidden deep in the forest where you can only access it through a bridge?

I admit I was jealous since a Theo had a stable family and home. Not constantly moving from place to place. I'd love to be tied down to a home, I want somewhere I can call home.

Up close the palace was much larger than what I saw across the ways on the bridge. Instead of allowing us through the front door, we are lead to the back and down a flight of stairs to a darkened area. I am assuming this is prison. King Maxwell lead the way and eventually the Prince and some other officers joined. He ordered for the officers to take small groups of us and stagger us through the cells, so we weren't near other groups.

This is a normal tactic so we can't plan an ambush or break out. Typical.

"Theo, take a small group of all females, one being your disobedient mate," the King orders sharply.

His head hangs as he gathers about eight of us and leads us down the hall way.

"Four of you in here," Theo barks.

When four enter that cell he locks it and walks down past two cells and faces the opposite wall. "You four in here," he orders

I jump hearing the cell door slam behind me and lock. Theo lingers for a moment before walking away. Over the next few hours I watch from the front of the cell many officers going back and forth with rogues, but none of the officers are Theo. My heart dropping and aching, I hated myself. I hated my father and the need for his love and attention. Goddess, what is wrong with me? My father doesn't deserve it, since he never gave it to me before. Yet, Theo was so willing and so ready to give me everything I wanted that my father didn't want to give me.

Next time, I will prove myself to Theo if the opportunity presents itself. I no longer care for my father as he took away my chance of happiness because his beliefs.

Good evening everyone!

Just a few updates as this will be one of the two chapters tonight. This is because I will busy this week with helping my grandparents move into assisted living for the safety of my grandfather as he keeps leaving the independent living side of the old age community he is living in.

Sadly, Bear broke a front tooth last weekend so he's been on medication to ease the pain and any irritation it may cause him until it grows back in a few weeks. Guinea pigs teeth are constantly growing so when one breaks it'll grow back shortly.

Lastly, I failed my drivers test since I messed up my three point turn and went up the curb a little when I was reversing (oops). I was a mess since my anxiety was bad about the whole thing. There is always next time though.

I hope you all have a safe and wonderful week!
