|Prince Theo|
I follow Dad down into the cells and treaded behind him, curious to see who would be going first. He stands before one of the first cells of males, Samantha's dad was being held in this one and that is exactly who he ordered out first. The old man complies but once he is out, he is cuffed. He smirks once the cuffs are on him and spits at my father who responded with a slap across his face.
"I will not tolerate any disrespect, you are at my mercy right now," Dad tells.
"I do not fear you, you are nothing. Your crown will mean nothing when you die. You will be just like the rest of us when you go to the afterlife and are judged by The God of the Dead," he tells.
Now father is the one smirking. "That is where you are wrong. I will be judged differently as the Goddess chose my family years ago to be the ruling monarchs of the light side of the realm. I am simply doing the duty the Goddess bestowed upon me," he tells. "I'd watch that tongue of yours, I won't hesitate to cut it out if I have to."
His eyes widen. "That is dark side of the realm practices!"
"Funny you say that. I am very close with the reigning Alpha over there. I am sure you have heard of him, Alpha Octavius."
Not wanting to hear this banter anymore he orders the guards to drag him as we head to the back room where we hold all the interrogations and interviews. He is plopped down in the chair and his cuffs are connected to the table so he can't do anything risky or dangerous.
"Let's just get this done and over with. I have a ton more wolves to interview and interrogate today. Of course I chose the most irritating to start off with," dad sighs.
"You sure did," he tells, smug.
I just rolled my eyes and sat knowing very well how irritating this interrogation is going to be. He's just an angry old man who wants nothing but revenge on the royal family for our "wrong" doings. He just angry that his wonderful Alpha was killed because he cheated. Obviously they don't believe he cheated and thinks he should still be alive and crowned King. The man and his fellow followers are insane. They are brainwashed idiots who praised the ground that male walked on.
"So, can you tell me why you chose my pack to camp out near," dad asks Cooley.
He laughs. "You are joking right. I think you know why, your Majesty."
Dad nods. "I do, but I would like it on record and recording. Now why were you camping out near my pack, purposely is seems like."
"Intimidation? Duh, we aren't afraid of you, Alpha King."
"You didn't intimidate anyone. You aren't scary. Only a bunch of cowards who broke our agreement accords."
He rolls his eyes and sits back. "Then why am I here?"
"Because you broke the law," a single growl rips through his throat. "That is why you are here. You broke the law and now you must face the punishment for doing such."
"Did I really though? It's unclaimed land after all."
"It doesn't matter, you were still too close to a packs boarder. My packs boarder. I will not tolerate such disrespect. I am your superior in every way and you will respect me and the law."
"You are no King."
"And your Alpha is no more."
He tugs at the cuffs attached to the table. Yeah like that is going to scare us. If he wasn't attached to the table he wouldn't do anything anyway. He is all bark and no bite. He is a rogue male who wants to make an Alpha think he isn't afraid of him, but he truly is. An Alpha fears no one, especially a dirty rogue like the male before me. If we were to let him go and jump over the table my father would destroy him in a single blow.
"I am done with this bickering. Why the fuck were you near my pack. Why are you on the move all a sudden? For years you stayed in one spot."
He is one of the many rogue groups on the move and my father is concerned. We've been tracking at least ten groups this past month and all of them suddenly started to move their groups around. Each advancing each day and setting a new camp by night.
"What are you planning," comes a snarl.
"What? We can't have a change of scenery for once? Maybe we like the view of the palace."
"What are you rogues planning!"
He smirks and that is enough for my father to call for the guards.
"Please take him away and bring in Samantha. Please put him in solitary confinement until he is ready to talk."
And like that he is taken away.
He was useless and my father needs to step up his integration tactics. I know he doesn't want to harm him as he is the father of my mate, but we got absolutely no where with that. We got no information that we were looking for. Just two stubborn men barking and fighting with one another to see who would crack first.
My father's biggest fear is the rogue groups joining together to form a pack and try to storm the palace and claim what they believe is rightfully theirs. This is why we are keeping a close eye on them as they keep getting closer and closer by the day. Soon the palace will be in lock down if they advance any further. The minute they are within a hundred feet of the packs boarder my father will put the palace and pack into lockdown. He'll send his best warriors to fend off the outsides.
He doesn't fear them, he fears the damage he'll do to the pack and the harm they'll bestow upon our pack members.

Sorry this is late! I've had a lot go on and I never got around to finishing it. This is why it's a little short and I had writers block, but Samantha's is next. Hopefully I can get that up soon!
I hope you all have a safe and wonderful weekend!
