Ginny POV:
I wake up in ropes, next to Luna. I look around frantically, but my vision is blurry. After a while, my vision clears, and I find myself in Malfoy Manor, tied with Harry, Ron, Hermione and Luna. I see two pale figures coming towards us, one looking delighted, one looking terrified.
"Ah, you've all woken up," Lucius Malfoy says with a sneer.
"Let us free!" I shout, before Lucius points his wand at me.
"I'd be careful about what to say if I were you, dear."
"You heard her! Let us free! What do you want so badly from us, anyways?" Ron snarls.
For a fraction of a second, I see Lucius look at Harry, his eyes narrowing, before coming back to us. You really want your child to suffer, huh?
"I'm- what's the word? Ah yes, avenge. I'm avenging The Dark Lord's wishes."
Hermione looks anxiously at Harry. There's a moment of silence, where I look pleadingly at Draco. His eyebrows shoot up when he sees me, and I take the moment to nod my head in the direction of Harry. His expression softens and he gives me a small nod. I breath a sigh of relief, knowing that Draco's on our side. Then, Luna pipes up.
"If I were you, I would've killed everyone when they were unconscious. Then you don't need to worry about them breaking out of these ropes and escaping. Has it ever crossed your mind that you're a little too dramatic about these kinds of things?"
Hermione starts coughing to hide her laughing, and Lucius glares in her direction.
"Might I say once again that you should be careful about what you say?"
"She has a point," I say softly. Lucius looks in my direction, and for a second I feel like running away from him as far as I can.
"Does she, now? Then maybe she should be the first to suffer the consequences," Lucius says in an eerie voice. I stifle a gasp as he starts to untie a very pale Luna.
"NO!" I shout, "NOT HER! ME INSTEAD! NO! PLEASE! DON'T KILL HER! SHE DESERVES BETTER!"
I shout until my voice goes hoarse, but Lucius doesn't even bother to listen. He finishes untying Luna and grabs her by the arm, dragging her towards the middle of the room. I shout louder and louder, but he still doesn't listen. Tears form in my eyes. Right now, Luna, my girlfriend, is about to die, and willingly, at that too. She isn't praying that she doesn't want to die, she's being silent and polite.
"Ah, yes, the feeling of power," Lucius says, "It's so great to feel like this."
Suddenly, I start grasping at the rope, trying to break free. I tug and tug, until I feel a large knot in the tangle of ropes. I grab the knot and start untying it. While this is happening, Draco is moving closer and closer towards a box. I look inside and see our wands inside of them. Smiling a bit, I finally untie the knot and start pulling on the rest of the ropes, freeing myself.
"Well, then, let's go easy on you first, shall we? How about a little pain? Shouldn't hurt much," Lucius says softly, raising his wand. As this is happening, I free myself and sprint towards Luna, jumping in front of her as he says, "Crucio!"
At once, I feel immense pain, but I suppress the urge to scream. I thrash at nothing, but the pain only gets worse. My eyes start to water, but I can still see Draco grabbing the box and tossing Luna her wand. She catches is with gusto and shoots a spell at Lucius, which hits him square in the chest. He clutches his chest, and I stop feeling pain. Draco gives me my wand while death eaters start to fly in.
I start fighting with a death eater, but they are too quick for me. "SECTUMSEMPRA!" They shout, and I feel a sharp stabbing pain near my stomach. I fall down, paralyzed by pain. Next to me, I see Luna fall down, part of her chest missing. She gasps in pain, and we lay next to each other, in a pool of blood. Next to me, I see the death eaters and Harry, Ron and Hermione run off into a different room, leaving Luna and I alone. She looks at me, pale in the face.
"So, I guess this is it. This is where we..." Luna trails off in a hoarse voice. Tears fall down her face, but she's smiling.
"Oh, Luna..." I say, tears appearing in my eyes again. I grab her hand, and I squeeze it, "Luna, even if this is the last day of our lives, I'm still happy. Wanna know why?"
"W-Why?" She says, her voice shaking.
"Because I'm with you."
There's a moment of silence where we both look at each other, before Luna breaks into a smile.
"You know what? Me too, Ginny, me too," She says softly.
"I love you, Luna. I love you so much."
Luna smiles softly.
"Me too."
Then, complete darkness again.
